It must be devastating for for a young player, to have a serious injury in their breakout season. A young player likes Winks might fear they have lost their opportunity and that a summer signing or two may mean they may never get that opportunity again.

So what does Poch do?

Publicly gives him a big up in the Media, let him know he's respected and is not going to be forgotten after the injury.

Compare that with the stuff that's going on between Mourinho and Shore, who's the same age as Winks and himself has come back from some major injuries and it is no surprise that so many young players are thriving under Pochettino.
