I think we will burn out having played way to many games in the closing stages of the season...
it could be a chance to play a couple of young players and give fringe players a game. I think we will burn out having played way to many games in the closing stages of the season but we have rotated our squad we must be close to have playing 38 games by now. I know we have played the most in the league. Think how many more points we would have had if we had not had EL.
What we have this season that we never had before is a minimalist injury list. There's no one on injured at all right now, for the second time this season ... and only the second time in my memory. Ever.
It makes the rotation much easier when there's a full squad to choose from.
The lack of injuries, as well as suggesting a hefty slice of good fortune, also suggests that the squad is fitter than in previous years and this also works against the burn-out you are worrying about.
Not convinced by this. Plying regularly can be a huge boon - players, do I think, quite like it (I'm told that racehorses do too. Not playing football of course, though you never know!). As long as managers and coaches are alert to identify fatigue in individual players, the more we play the better. It will help a 'new' bunch of players gel all the more quickly.
I hope not as well; strongest team out for Capital One Cup please Mauricio.I don't think MP is going to give too much of a shit about the FA cup.
