It's not technically true is it? He sits on a four man committee.

A headline sells good copy and generates cracking clicks.
I'm reading what he said though rather than looking at the headlines. Poch was coach and had his title change to reflect his increased status - now he's talking about it being changed to coach again.

That he should be changed back to coach? Well what's to worry about then? Sorry that press conference is more about the fact he doesn't want to push the envelope because a couple of transfers aren't going the way he wanted. Perhaps just come out and say it anyway, he said himself they will write what they want, why not let them actually write about facts rather than half arsed Mourinho lite type ramble.

He sounded bitter yesterday, if he is upset with Levy, say it.

That's how I am reading it though - he is fed up and saying that he might as well just be head coach. Hopefully it's just frustration that transfers are taking a while to conclude.

In theory both Levy and Poch should be on the same page with transfers now and how each other work.

Well, those who crave drama have got what they want.

Becoming an all too regular occurrence for me.

Getting tired of it to be honest...not a good image for the club...and just keeps the media trotting out the same old Poch to Madrid, United, PSG gumpf. Tomorrow he’ll be claiming he was misquoted.

I’m not sure what sort of say in transfers Poch would expect at these bigger clubs.

A brilliant manager but getting a bit moody these days.....
He did reference Wenger and Guardiola and how they had “complete control” over transfers, contracts and who comes and who goes. Perhaps that’s what he wants and expects?

It's very frustrating because it takes the shine off a very good performance yesterday and I wasn't really that concerned about the transfers because I felt that Lo Celso and Sessegnon will likely get sorted by the end of the window. I appreciate that Poch wants the players in asap and it is frustrating when these things drag on but as long as they get signed in the end then that's the main thing. It is a concern that other clubs appear to be in for Lo Celso now mind.

I'm fast getting beyond it. Tired of headlines that forever take away from what we're trying to do. It's been mentioned elsewhere on this site, but there is less and less joy around this sport and this club each year for me.

I get what your saying - the media attention that clubs get has reached epic proportions nowadays and obviously with Tottenham's status far greater than 10-15 years ago, we are bound to get more attention.

Best case scenario it’s Poch playing the transfer game with Levy but whatever way you look at it, it’s concerning.

What is most concerning is that there doesn’t seem to be plan Bs for either GLC or Sessegnon. The only plan B I can see is that Eriksen and Rose both stay. The question is whether Poch will be happy with that. It looks as though he has told Levy that these are the 2 players that he wants and nobody else. My own feeling , as I have said before is that paying an extra 20m over and above what Levy wants to spend would be worth it to keep Poch from being totally disillusioned and demotivated by Levys constant haggling .

As for Dybala if it’s true that we offered 45m I can only call that derisory and going through the motions .

Problem with a manger having complete control over all transfers/wages etc could be he is not responsible should it all go wrong, they can resign whenever and move on leaving chaos behind, not to mention they may not be skilled money men.
Not having a dig at Poch (love him) just a little tired of these comments that are appearing more frequently now.
