The journalists try and trip him up but he's so good at deflecting away questions and giving himself time to answer by pretending he doesn't understand.

He was getting pretty annoyed at the questioning of the players at the end quite rightly. Kept his cool as usual though.

I have to say, I am concerned with other clubs hovering around and us having the uncertainty of a season at Wembley that we may struggle to keep some players at spurs.
It's actually why I think we needed to win something this season, any trophy would have done because it represents real progress in the eyes of a player, to us we understand that these things take time but players mostly only see short term, mixture of agent pressure and possibility of short career play a part in that.
I am not sure finishing 2nd in the league is going to be enough to keep players here, whatever club they move to is likely to have champions league football.
@Mr Pink I edited it because I assume you disagreed with the trophy part, just wanted to clarify my position further on that.

I love that he says clubs ' with potential' will be after our players.
Says to players, fans and other clubs that we are no longer a side with potential. We have arrived and why would our players swap consecutive '2 horse' title challenges in the best league in the world for anything else
The only other thing of course, for real mercenaries, is money. We don't know what has been said behind closed doors and what is in player's contracts but I'd have been tempted to write into all these long-term contracts that anybody who is still at the club at Xmas in the first year of the new stadium gets a 20% pay rise for the rest of their contract. This applies to Kane on 80 or 90k a week or Trippier, Wimmer on perhaps 35k
That would give anybody considering their 'money' options a cast-iron incentive on top of the squad spirit, ambitions, CL and new stadium and without perhaps having to go back to a number of players and renegotiate in between

I just fucking love him!!!!! He's superb with the press.
I don't think he's worried at all with the rumours. He knows we're at the start of a very exiting time for the club. I also would have to question why players would want to leave under the current project?! World class training ground, fantastic team and an amazing stadium which will be one of the best in the world.
Stinks of someone trying to end our season prematurely whilst hoping for a collapse.

15 mins onwards is great. Anyone who is worried about the rumours etc should watch. I absolutely love Pochettino. What a man.
