Everyone loves a drama.

Poch is annoyed because no matter how many times he tells reporters that he is not in charge of negotiating contracts or transfers, he is still bombarded with questions about contracts and transfers.

They should get the press officer to tell the reporters (before poch enters the room) that poch will not be answering any questions about transfers or contract negotiations.

Might also help if jesus took a few interviews. The head coach isn't the only one that can do them. Although preseason the sponsors will want him to.

I find it odd that some think he seemed “happy” in any way shape or form. His “just a coach” comments are stark and controversial enough to make the headlines on most sports outlets.

I think you and others are reading way too much into this.

He has always been consistent on this point, and he is not saying things have changed.

When he says he is a coach, not in control of whether individual players stay to leave or extend their contracts, the journalist asks "has that changed then, has there been a recent change?"

Pochettino replies "No, no."

He then talks about changing his title to better reflect his job, but unless you think he is contradicting himself, (or lying) there's no reason to suppose it reflects a change. Rather, it reflects his growing frustration at always being asked the same questions, questions that he has always said he can't answer, questions that he's always said should be directed to the club (or Daniel Levy) and not him.

Yes, he is visibly frustrated, but who can blame him? He puts 100% effort into training the players, has just finished an important pre-season match, and all they ask him is questions he's always told them he can't answer.

His first words were that he thought he'd made it clear in singapore and again in china that he couldn't answer them.

I know why the papers are making a big deal out of it. To make money. Not sure why our fans are though.

That's not to say that he doesn't want anyone else in. I'm sure he does and i hope that levy can do a deal.

Poch is not helping by being petulant. He is a highly paid professional representative of the club and he lets himself an the club down.
The Lamela question was fine and Poch, well lost it.
Love what Pochettino has done with "the player" in the squad but he let himself down imo.

The club lets itself down. Poch is obviously pissed for a reason and has every right to be. He is the best manager we’ve ever had in the Premier League era and Levy doesnt back him in the market. Social media’s hashtag will do nothing as Levy couldnt give a shit about what the supporters think but fans care clearly annoyed as well.

Had a look around the club recently?
Don't start the 'Levy isn't backing' bollocks.

I am tired of the press conferences, just get the press officer to dictate the direction of the presser and this utter drivel can be saved for behind closed doors. His whole attitude and demeanour has been off since his 'throw away comment' before the Champions League Final.

So many on this site and probably away from here regularly laugh at other clubs around the league, with topics ranging from players to other teams boardrooms and to fans - perhaps people should begin to think as we're now starting to mimic those that some of us find so hilarious.

But he should be in charge of incoming transfers not Levy

Personally I think he is sick of answers questions on transfers and rumour. He always has and he said in his previous conferences what his stance is and he doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

He doesn't want to answer them and people are then twisting it as a problem with the club, when in fact it's Poch's issue with journalists always banging on about unimportant stuff that has nothing to do with the game and his job

This is why he keeps repeating "this is not a question for me" or AKA - "Stop asking me these fucking questions!" - Thats my thoughts on it anyway

Why should they fuck off, their entitled to their own opinion as you are buddy. And to be fair I agree because that little bald twat is not backing him hence him saying should change his role to coach instead of manager. Everyone has had enough of Levy’s constant profit making antics off the pitch, and not sorting on the playing side of things out. If we would of added 2 quality players per season since the Leicester season. We would be right up there with City and Liverpool but we are not and lost 20 games in all comps last season which is fucking shite I’m sorry.

And who is talking about that now?
It Poch said this or that.......
Poch is doing well, he doesn't need all this Mouriho'esk behaviour.

That's the thing, the first question wasn't about the game it was about contracts. Something he has repeatedly said is not down to him.
