I wish Football Twitter would fuck off already. Load of bollocks.
No round of applause required, folks. The headline with longevity here was never going to be about how beautiful the stadium looked and how amaze-balls Hotspur Way was kitted out.
Dammit, we paid for it all, anyway!
The Leicester City fans rightfully mourned the death of their owner because he slung his own cash into the club. He had a demonstrable emotional attachment to his investment.
We get told by lackeys and stooges that Levy is a fan, because ENIC are forced to put that guano out.
Lewis and Levy won’t be mourned quite so much outside of their immediate families, because ENIC’s tenure of Spurs has been entirely parasitic.
The inarguable metric in top flight European football is trophies. Should any sexually inadequate pilgrims wish to debate this, what we’re all here for, then they can do so elsewhere.
Levy’s got a week (ish) left.
That puts him right in the frame for paying over the odds, at the death.
#BackTheDamnManager from Harry hotspur good lad, you lot need to take the blinkers off. Levy is a fucking Crook and if we are not careful Poch will be gone.

I'm sure Poch does get fed up of certain types of questions, but unfortunately for him doing these press events is part of his job and he's paid millions to do it properly. If someone is taking the piss then fair enough, but a boring but inoffensive question about Lamela playing well doesn't deserve the response Poch gave.

Two things strike me about this.

1) Maybe he thinks that if his title is changed to coach rather than manager, the press would stop asking him about transfers and actually talk about the match. He is always happy to talk about the football, but seems to hate the transfer questions. Who can blame him?

2) A few months ago he said he would consider leaving. No way DL gives him final say on transfers for a while after that. Although I suspect that behind the scenes, DL trusts Poch's evaluation of players anyway.

I’m afraid there is Levy is raping our football club for profit and not investing for glory. I would rather have the old beautiful white hart lane and glory in the pitch. Than having a shiny new stadium just turning in to the blue and white version of the gooners. Levy is a fucking shit house
Is there any need in using this word? Secondly, he's not otherwise we wouldn't be expanding all the time would we.

The worrying thing about his comments after the champions league, he said he would of left if we won the final. Now you know why because of not being backed and taking us to the next level

We do seem to be having these debates about the meaning of a strongly worded Poch statement in a press conference very frequently. What's more, these headlines are not just here, but on all media outlets. Everywhere I've looked today all I've seen is stories about Poch being unhappy.

Were his comments actually a dig at Levy & the club? Was it Poch reacting to journalists, in a big "fuck off" manner? Only Poch and the club know.

What I know is that either way, I'm tired of these debates and I'm tired of Poch coming out with debateable comments. He seems to like the ambiguity regarding his happiness at the Club. I didn't, for example, take kindly to him saying he'd leave if we won the CL before the final. I'm even less impressed with his Lamela comment from yesterday.

I'm not saying he wants out or that he's unhappy, what I'm saying is that I would appreciate some more care when he opens his mouth. If he's unhappy, then he should vent his anger at Levy personally. Not via an ambiguous comment in a press conference.

If he's unhappy with the same questions from journalists, then he ought to think of a better way of dealing with that, or better still, just accept the fact that journalists in press conferences, actually ask questions that aren't how are you.

Either way, I don't like this constant media circus we have every month, where we all debate how angry he may or may not be.

Why did Trippier say one of the reasons he left was what was going on behind the scenes. Worrying I’m afraid

Why should they fuck off, their entitled to their own opinion as you are buddy. And to be fair I agree because that little bald twat is not backing him hence him saying should change his role to coach instead of manager. Everyone has had enough of Levy’s constant profit making antics off the pitch, and not sorting on the playing side of things out. If we would of added 2 quality players per season since the Leicester season. We would be right up there with City and Liverpool but we are not and lost 20 games in all comps last season which is fucking shite I’m sorry.

I think you've completely missed the point here. He's just beaten Madrid and he gets asked about transfers which he has repeatedly said is not for him to sort out.

It's a disgrace that they keep asking him the same questions and that's why he is pissed off.

Everyone knows he wants to talk about the game and it was the same when he was asked about Kane that time who didn't even play.

So yeah, they can fuck off with their pathetic agenda.

Of course Poch should be in charge of transfers on the pitch he’s the manager that’s rubbish I’m afraid buddy. It was a spurs fan who was the reporter and wants to know what’s going on in regards to in coming players. He is entitled to ask this question he along with all of us have invested our money and lives in to Tottenham we are being cheated from glory on the pitch at the moment due to no investment.

It is funny to see some people twist themselves into a pretzel to posture Poch's responses as angry with reporters for asking about transfers.

How hard is it to say - "Sorry, I don't have anything new on transfers today. I know the club are looking at several options, but nothing is final yet, and I don't like to talk about players who are not here."

He is not annoyed with the questions - he knows that is what the journos are there to do, particularly at this time of year. Its more likely that he is annoyed that he has no answers to give them yet...

So why the Lamela question reaction?

Fuck the expanding we want the glory I’m not interested what’s off the pitch that means shit. What all spurs fans want are trophies as you won’t be remember for anything off the pitch
There's a reason why the biggest teams in the World Hoover up the vast majority of trophies on a regular basis, their revenue streams allow them to.
We've never had those revenues since Scholar bankrupted us, so whilst clubs like Utd "expanded" we were just trying to stay afloat.

ENIC have changed that with the systematic expansion of the clubs assets, creating a self sustainable model that is still in its relative infancy. Why? Because it allows us to compete with the already expanded clubs for the glory they hoover up every season.

Reading your post, it seems clear you're a short termist, not concerned about the long term future of the club, just the bragging rights that come with some trophies. Personally I'd happily wait another 5 years with nothing, if it means that we're in there winning trophies for the next 20 years. That is what ENIC, and particularly Levy, have set the foundations for. That is what the shiny new stadium is about, the NFL deal, the foreign exposure to increase the fan base. We're already seeing the fruits of this with the new sponsorship deal, because ENIC have overseen our transition from relegation flirters to CL regulars and finalists.

It was Levy who appointed Poch...

To say what happens of the pitch "don't mean shit" has to be one of the most naively blinkered statements I've ever read on here. What happens on the pitch is 100% related to what happens of it in the modern game, hence why the biggest/richest clubs Hoover up the glory.

It honestly terrifies me at times just how wilfully ignorant some people are and yes, I put you in that bracket.
