Apprently, David Hynter seems to believe that what Poch says is somehow unknown to Levy prior to him saying it.

So, Daniel Levy, the perfectionist who regularly works 20 hour days and who oversees every last detail to do with the club, alongside Donna Cullen, a savvy spin-doctor, somehow contrive to not have any inkling what the club's manager is going to say in a press conference? So, essentially, Spurs have absolutely no media strategy, or if they do, Pochettino is in no way involved in it.

That's when I stopped reading.

I personally feel Levy will open up the cheque book this next window. I’m expecting 5 new signings anything more is far to disruptive,

Sell: Wanyama Llorente Vorm Trippier Aurier Janssen GNK :
(Toby Eriksen Lamela) would like to stay but depends on contracts and bids.

Right wingback, CM,
left winger/striker, two others.

I expect to see 5 development player promotions to the first team squad. Walker-Peters Amos Skipp Onomah Edwards.

I agree. I've been saying since the links to Bale started last season (before the CL final) that I'm convinced Levy will make a real statement signing to walk out into the new stadium at the start of its first season. It just fits somehow.

It makes perfect sense to refresh the squad now the stadiums built . We really need to be brave trust Pochettino and give him what he needs, if we could assemble a squad to really challenge for trophies over the next 5 years we're in serious business...we must avoid the Arsenal model at all cost imo this is the time to strike.

Be careful. You could easily apply your comments to last summer by simply changing the words “a real statement signing” to “a signing” and yet oh so many fans, including me were disappointed.

Levy has been instrumental in taking us from mid-table has beens to top 4 title challengers but he’s done it by getting the absolute most out if his managers and probably often pissing them off en route.

I am no longer expecting a “marquee” signing but do agree that he will have to pull out his chequebook and power up the famous temperamental facsimile machine otherwise Pochettino will be mightily pissed off and probably walk.

The stage is set however and some quality in would be super.

I fear though that this may be where we head...

"Quality" being the keyword. Something we've not had since Van Der Vart, or Klinsman.

As I said though mate. My thinking is based solely upon the stadium.

I thought we'd make a statement signing last summer/at the end of the window, in preparation to have him grace the stadium when we played the first game against Liverpool. It would have created even more exposure. However, as we all know, things went slightly tits-up, and the stadium didn't open. This (in my opinion) massively affected the transfer plans.

As I've said since before then though. There's just something inside of me that makes me think Levy will want to make a statement that compliments the stadium even more.

Onions.
