Dad was in the Army so spent from 8 to 14 years old in Whetstone N20, which is when I got in to footy. Moved down to Bromley where I was born after this and all my family are Arse or Palace apart from me and my brother.

Born in Walthamstow 1981... moved to Cheshunt, then Bridgewater and then Derry, Northern Ireland.

Moved to Broxbourne in 1986-ish and supported Spurs since then (although, it was never going to be anyone else).

Took it up to Durham University with me in 2000-2004 and again in 2006-7. Kept it whilst working in Ware, 2004-2006 and whilst working in Harlow 2008-2011 and Ealing, 2011-2012.

Taking it over to Croxley Green in May.

Stevenage, Herts - parents and grand parents from near Tottenham though. Didn't get to go much when I lived there, now live in North Herts, about an hour drive straight down the A10 all the way to White Hart Lane, nice and easy.

Born In south London and moved to Enfield when I was 6 months old, Dad was from Bush Hill park and we lived in ponders end. I guess I became a Spurs true blood in 1984 after watching the heroics of Tony Parks in our Uefa cup victory over Anderlecht. So I guess I have been a fan for around 27-28 yrs (longest relationship I have ever had!!), I think I am the only Spurs fan in my family, All the others are either Chelsea or Millwall.

On a side note, Until the other day, I never realised that Frank Arnesen came on as a sub for Anderlecht in that game.

Why do old threads about where people live keep being bumped?

With all the discussion regarding the new stadium, I thought it would be interesting to see where everyone is actually from.

Now I feel the poll would be flawed if I asked where your based now as people move about towns, city's and even countries for one reason or other.

So very simple.

Where were you from when you first started supporting Tottenham Hotspur?

Now if you were from Tottenham or close to it pick Tottenham. Any other areas I'm afraid it's classed as London.

I was born and live in Leicester, started supporting spurs in 1990 when i was 13. First team i ever saw on tv, i didnt pick spurs they picked me.

Colchester, Essex. First went in 1970 when I was 5. Travel a little further to get to games these days!

I was born and live in Leicester, though i did move down to the smoke for a bit a few years back. I started supporting Spurs in 1989 when i was 8 and Lineker signed. Loved him and Gazza having seen them watching England with the old man (gooner ). And they were also the first club side i remember watching on TV.

They too picked me

That's pretty much my story also. Except my old man isn't a gooner. I'm the only person in my family who gives a shit about football. Or sport, really.
