Levy tried previously to get Soldado before Baldini turned up, when Sherwood was with the commitee there was ITK saying he wanted Eriksen. ITK said that Levy had been working on the paulinho deal since christmas 2012 and apparently both Chad and Capoue had been watched for some time.

Transfers are done by commitee, Baldini has input but he doesn't run the show, he doesn't pick the head coach. Sherwood was asked what does Baldini do and he struggled to come up with an answer. I know people hate Sherwood but not everything he said was garbage. I don't think has any real power, I haven't seen any interview from him since he joined Spurs.
Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware.

The Fall Guy. That's all Baldini is. Oooh this is Baldini's squad, aaaah Comolli is useless. Harry this, AVB that and all the while the actual festering sore on the club is laughing into his Walt Disney onesie.
Ah, I had the figure of six million running through my head. I done meself up like a kipper because I didn't think it through.

All depends on the mentality of the players. Lose a couple, draw a couple and suddenly we're down there scrapping. At that point if the players can't be arsed to fight, then Poch could go.

Hope he doesn't go though; we really need some stability.

Was going to WTF, but Cmon, Tony Pulis!o_O

Sure, it would be 'great' to get back to the solid - yet uninspiring - defence brought in by George Graham and the oh so attractive "hoof-ball" of David Pleat.

Then we would really be back in the 90's (see video below). ;) :p

Exhibit A:

We did win that game though. :)

Yes I think he will still be here at Christmas. Next summer, I guess it depends on if the fans have driven him out or Levy isn't strong enough to sell the players that Pochettino wants rid of and buy the ones he wants.

Way to early for a thread like this. Poch needs time, and right now he has to manage so many egos in that dressing room. We need those who are proud to wear our famous crest. I say give Poch a season to implement his strategy at the very least... We need to get behind the manager and stop trying to look for a quick fix solution.

So our managers will only ever succeed if they get the players they want!

Poch will not get and I doubt is expecting big spending.

IF he is, he might as well pack his bags

He will be here at Christmas. He will be here next season bar an absolute meltdown in results (bottom six). We have little choice now to be honest as our reputation has been damaged, rightly or wrongly, over the past decade in this regard. Even Rodgers came out and said he didn't consider managing Spurs because of how little time our managars are given. Levy is not stupid. He knows he has to give Poch time. Another premature sacking and the knives will well and truly come out in the media.

Patience required all round I think from both Chairman and fans.

It's ok to say he needs time to improve the team but he has made it a lot worse.

No discernible attempt to play in a particular style.

Plus he is ruining Ericsson who is our best creative player.

I think we all want Levy to give a manager time. Patience is key. But you can only achieve patience when change is evident. Unfortunately, Poch is taking us backwards. We have no cohesion or fight. The football is dire. And his team selections are baffling.

Bring in Moyes. A proven manager who can sort us out.

I got general dislike for these one trick ponies in management, but as he is here, we should give him a season if not for proper relegation dogfight (which seems possible) or dressing room revolt. However if it looks like this come may, he shouldn't be there come next season.

Besides patience isn't always the virtue, had we given few more months for Ramos, we would've probably visited Championship instead of Champions League we got for replacing him with Harry before it was too late.

I don't think he'll last much longer to be honest. Everything looks like it's gone wrong.
