If Poch gets the sack or resigns we will be the laughing stock of world football and rightly so. I am not saying he needs time or it will come good but the mistakes we have made to get to this point are unbelievable.
From what I saw today, the players were dreadful. Clubs like Southampton, Swansea, West Ham and Stoke have over taken us by better recruitment, organisation and spirit. Sacking the manager now is not an option in my opinion.

When we were in the CL, the night we smashed Inter Milan, the reigning champions, on one of the greatest nights at the lane in decades, who would have thought there would be a wave of support for Pulis to be our new manager?

Fuck. Ing. Hell

What a shambles we have become

Even worse is that Pulis might actually turn us down

Seriously though, he has proved to be a good manager and not just using Stoke tactics. At Stoke he adapted and got them to play that way because it was the best chance for them to stay in the league. He's not a one trick pony, he can play different styles and knows how to balance a team. He could possibly bring back what I'll call the Redknapp factor.

Basically he ticks a lot of boxes for what people see as missing from our current setup. Would he actually work out here? Not even God would know.

If their were any signs of improvement, then the question of Poch still being in charge at Christmas would be laughable.

But their are no signs of improvment, if anything we are getting worse and with every game Poch is looking more and more out of his depth.

All of this is alarmingly reminiscent of the reign of Ramos.

As much as I dread the thought; if we were to sack Pochettino, a guy like Pulis is exactly what we need. God help us all.

On a serious note, Poch needs to be backed in the transfer market. Its time for Levy n co ie supporters to take our medicine and back the manager... we should definitely back Poch and the long game.

General gist of point agreed, however the manager is out of his depth.

Agreed. Cannot keep sacking manager because results are not going our way. Let him get his team and strategy in place then judge him.

He has to go for me, He's looked absolutely clueless at times and appointing Adebayor and Kaboul as vice captain and captain respectively is the biggest piece of crap that I have ever seen, also dropping Vertonghen for Fazio/Kaboul sums Pochettino's clueless nature up... Vertonghen is our best centre half but he plays two dopey clumsy centre backs instead of him and then wonders why the defence is crap.

He also persisted with Adebayor despite Adebayor playing like Adebayor, Soldado should have came on today, not Adebayor who's crap, lazy and crap and useless.

We can still challenge for the Top 4 this season due to the standard of the other teams being extremely poor, get rid of Mopo and appoint one of Capello, Mancini or Pulis.

We need a base, two italians and Pulis would provide that, get back to the basics.

I'm not an advocate of constantly changing managers but Levy and the Board need to wake up.

Poch would not have been my choice (FdB - seemed the common sense appointment given the players we had and system we were looking to develop) however once he got the job I was willing to buy into his philosophy of playing a high tempo pressing game having been impressed with some of Southampton's performances, particularly at Anfield and at Hull where it always looked like they had 13 players on the pitch.

However, I've not been impressed at all by anything I have seen from us this season. Beating an equally gutless QPR is no achievement and our other EPL wins have had a big slice of luck. I have not seen any sign of Poch's high tempo philosophy in any of our games, even where we have changed the side almost entirely for cup games. I think it is over simplistic to say it is the players fault. Surely all 23 players are not incapable of implanting instructions but even if they are that means there are other issues, with our recruitment (see below) and Poch's ability to communicate to the players clearly (certainly if his interviews are anything to be judged by!)

I appreciate that some will say "give him time... It won't happen in 10 games or so..." I would agree IF we were seeing ANY sign of it but we are NOT. Also, there is no reason (as a defender himself) why Poch has not addresses the defence. We are headless chickens making schoolboy errors game in game out with no sign of improvement. Poch was a defender himself. He should be able to do this. It is a matter of coaching, Harry did it when he came in after Ramos, Pulis did it at Palace. If he cannot organise the defence I don't think there much chance of there being any improvement in other areas. This will inevitably lead to the loss of Lloris who, with Mason and Kane is the only one who can hold his head up.

There is also a HUGE issue with our recruitment. We have, for the last few seasons not addressed the key areas at the right time, starting when we were in the CL and needed a quality CF, then the full backs, now the defence. Our squad is always unbalanced. The most recent signings are simply not good enough, they cannot get into the first team - what is the point? Why spend for spendings sake on "B list" players the manager doesn't want. I'd rather we buy 1 player the manger want in a position we need the 4/5 from the reserve list just to give Baldini something to do. The transfer "committee" is a joke, zero accountability.

I am also amazed the players are not embarrassed. If I were a professional footballer the biggest insult you could get would be for someone to question your heart, guts and desire... They should be ashamed and if they are not they need to be out of our club asap, irrespective if they are supposedly one of our so called "superstars" (Eriksen, Lamela, Ade, Jan etc).

Lloris - world class - Vorm (able backup - assume no.1 next year when Lloris has had enough)

Kaboul, Vlad - calamities both should go.

Dier - keep for future but not as RB

Jan - ability but questionable attitude - needs a King / Kompa y type beside him

Fazio - too slow, again not suited to EPL a, a poor signing we will lose money on.

Rose - get rid, schoolboy - pathetic at the crossbar challenge

Davies - why sign him if he cannot oust Rose from the team

Walker - keep

Naughton - sell and promote from the youth.

Lamela - skill and potential, still too lightweight and loses possession far too often, too casual and needs to work more

Lenon - stale, has not progressed as he should and seems to have a poor attitude (especially last year)

Townsend - one trick pony, shoot from 30 yards. Would have sold to Southampton in the summer.

Capoue - doesn't add much for me going forward or defensively, just coasts through games

Dembele - as above

Stambouli - can't seem to get a game in the EPL a so again, why sign him?

Benteleb - another ineffectual midfielder not of the necessary standard. Will be a player most will rate higher when he is not in the team.

Paulinho - ineffective, waste of money. Terrible touch for a Brazilian. Whatever the question he is not the answer. Need to get as much money back as possible

Chadli - keep but ultimately should be a squad player (compared to what we had when we had VdV although those days are gone for a while)

Eriksen- needs to toughen up and dictate games more. Not in the form of last season but worth keeping (for now£

Ade - mersory, poor attitude and effort - must sell if anyone would take him.

Kane - keep

Soldado - wanted him to be a 20 goal man, he will never be in EPL. Looks better with support up top but ultimately we need to recoup as much as we can and look elsewhere - Bony? Berahino? Benteke?

We have gone so far backwards in the last 2 years it is unbelievable. Levy has to accept he is not bulletproof and take responsibility for this. The value of the club is diminishing as a result (shame we are no longer a PLC). The result of repeated mismanagement and I get the sense the fans at games won't stan for much more before they turn.

Massive rant over but I'm sick of these gutless prima-donnas ruining my weekends with this rubbish, particularly when Chelsea apart none of the other "big 4" are consistent.

Il hold my hands up and say I thought we had done the right thing when we got rid of redknapp,, but i wish he was in charge today,,when he was manager at least he had the players playing for him,,,we've been a shower of shit all season, a complete embarrassment,,iv been backing poch until today,, today was our chance to put the poor start of the season behind us and make it look fairly inpressive,, but again we were absolutely dreadful, on a par with the worst iv seen in a long while,,in terms of lack of commitment and chances created,, he doesn't adsactly strike me as inspiring,,

Stupid thread, give manager some time. It's only few point between us and top 5. Eventually he will get the team to play on his style...

I only have one concern, we are not pressing as a team. Only individuals are pressing.... And we are defending like Arsenal..

I really want the guy to succeed but I can't see it.

That was a Ramos performance.

We actually had no plan A, let alone Plan B
