hmmm, I've never been to Fratton park so have no idea of the walk from the station, the pubs to go in, what vaccinations to have.....

I live next to Fratton park and there's the Shepherds crook near the end of my road . I think that's pretty harmless although don't keep me to that?! Steer clear of Smithy's bar as you come over the railway bridge though as that always looks pretty hostile! Apart from that you're welcome to call in for a cuppa! Ha

Come off the station, left on the bridge on to Goldsmith Avenue and turn left. Kepp walking and the ground is behind some houses on the left.

Pub wise I have no idea round the ground as they all seem to be fairly 'pompey'. If your earlier turn right off the station and go down the main road at Fratton itself for a few more pubs.

I shall be watching from the comfort of my home a few miles away.

The good companion was where we went before the game last year. Mix of spurs and pompey but no problems and it's 2 minutes from the ground.
