Wow. Not Harry's fault at all, he doesn't deal with money, he let the chairmen sort the financial side out, and they obviously fucked the club over big time. £2.3m for the agent involved in Diarra's transfer, what a farce.

love the fact that Asmir Bergovic joined Stoke, yet somehow we're owed 1 million from the transfer

Of course the chairmen and Fin.Directors are the first people at fault here, but to underestimate Harry Redknapp's role in all the deals is just short-sighted. Knowing how much influence he was able to wield at Portsmouth with his old pal Peter Storrie as Director there, it is very hard to say that he did not know anything about the level of agents' fees and wage packets involved in deals like Lass Diarra, Benjani, Utaka etc etc. And it is very unlikely that he did not have any clue about the club's financial situation.

More likely that he and Storrie were aiming for short term relative success while hoping that that success would help bring more revenue, higher profile and a more serious investor with deeper pockets, who could bail the club out and let them continue spending - and making - more and more money there.

I feel for Avram Grant I really do..

But I wish Portsmouth would stop bleating in the press about them being victims.
