The referee/linesman decisions at stoke and against Chelsea and now balotelli who shouldn't have been on the pitch. How cruel can this game be..?

We need to use the frustration of that defeat too go on an almighty run, i don't think we will win the league, it's last minute penaltys and silly misses that win and lose leagues along with referees and we seem to keep having it go against us. Still very proud of how we performed after Defoe scored.

However, disappointed we didn't decide to play untill Defoe scored. Missed Adebayor big time and imo with him we would have won that comfortably. We ARE the best team in the league. I have no doubt about that. We just aren't the best squad in the league.

2nd this year at least. 1st Next. COYS.

Man City aren't all that. They just have in Aguero, Silva and that twat Balotelli some amazing match winners, effectively 3 Van Persies. We miss that one player who just takes a game and wins it himself, but we do have a team that is better than any other in the league.

Said this to my mates on FB, copied and pasted hence the font being off.

Anyone else excited for when we play Man Utd at home?

I really think we can take all 3 points. That's how far we've come as a team.

Just remember lads, we've gone from 5th last year to title challengers this year with a couple of signings. We can bag a top striker, one who can do what Ade does 5 times better. We'll be up there next season, don't doubt that.

We will finish 3rd at the very least. We are miles better than anything below us. Proud of every Spurs player. Onwards and upwards.

PS Still fancy us to have a big impact on the FA Cup. We can beat anyone and we now should never fear any team home or away. We are the big boys! COYS

ive seen enough to convince me that we are more than capable of finishing 3rd at least, just that little bit of luck at the end that united usually get was all that was missing from getting 3 points

we just outplayed and lost away to a last minute penalty to the team that will probably win the league.

we have 3 of the best 10 players in the league in Bale, Van Der Vaart and Modric

we are comfortable in 3rd and on form will not finish lower than 3rd

we have a good tie in the next round of the FA Cup, Man City are out of it and one of Liverpool or Man Utd will go out next round.

glass more half full than half empty for me

Couldn't have put it better :clap::clap:

You know what? There are a load of positives from that game.

A few seasons ago, 2-0 down would have been, at best, game over and at worst, a crumbling. Instead we fought back.

We deserved to win.

We played fucking well, even without any kind of physical presence upfront. Scored 2 goals at the COMS, when they've conceded 4 goals there in the league all season.

Balotelli is a prick.

Will hopefully convince the staff to make a huge effort to get that striker with a physical presence upfront. Defoe should have been off by the end, he was clearly tired and we can never sub Ade off either.

Even though we lost to Man City, if the league started after our first two games we'd still be sitting in 1st.

We played well enough too get the win today which is pleasing.
There are 16 games left and a total of 48 points to get if we want em, with only 8 between us and citeh.
It is still on in my view, the gradient has got a little steeper but it's still on

Another positive....when we eventually win the league we will get even more credit because of the now bigger gap

If we play the way we did today, especially in the second half, then every single remaining game is winnable.

Our team performance today was fantastic, especially considering that players like Modric, Walker, BAE and VDV were not at their best.
