There are interviews with Assou-Ekotto and Kaboul after last night's match on the Eurosport website:

Quite interesting stuff, they also both have ridiculous earrings and Assou-Ekotto especially looks like a pirate.
Assou-Ekotto: we had to come out and show the other side of our game after going 4-0 down, on paper the hardest part is over but we have to concentrate on the next match. Gareth Bale was giving Maicon the runaround all night, and he reckons he's going to carry on playing like that for the rest of the season, even though now he's going to be more closely watched by other teams. I look like a pirate. The defence was a lot better and we've shown a lot of progress since the last game, and at WHL anything is possible (i.e. we can beat anyone), and we've taken a big step towards the next round.
Kaboul: great to beat the champions, but it's only one match and still work to do. From a personal point of view it's good for him to show people back in France that he's playing well and making progress, he's learning from Gallas and gaining in confidence, he likes playing with the other French guys in defence, it helps that there are other French speakers and there's a good atmosphere. And if we win the next match we can start looking forwards to the next round but the league is still important (actually the reporter asked him if he thought that we wanted to show the real Spurs in front of our fans but Kaboul started talking about himself!)
