Reading Phil McNulty’s predictions on the BBC and he’s put Liverpool to finish 2nd, ahead of Chelsea.

The Liverpool-loving delusion of everyone who works at the BBC is pathological at this stage.

Premier League winners: Man City (I was going to say Chelsea, but Kane going there tips it back towards City)

Champions League qualification (2nd-4th): Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd

Other European spots (5th-7th): Tottenham, Leicester, Everton.

Relegation places (18th-20th): Southampton, Watford, Norwich.

Community Shield winners: Leicester

Premier League Top Scorer: Kane

Player of the Year: KDB

Tottenham Player of the Year: Son

Young Player of the Year: Foden

Tottenham Young Player of the Year: Bryan Gil

Manager of the Year: It probably goes to Guardiola or Tuchel, but I'm going to say Thomas Frank.

Best signing: I think all the big name signings will do well, but I think the best value for money will be Billy Gilmour on loan at Norwich.

Worst signing: Fingers crossed for Ramsdale to Arsenal, but so far Adam Armstrong.

Break out Player: Skipp - can see him getting an England call up by the end of the season.

First Manager to be sacked: My heart says Arteta, my head says Viera or whoever's at Watford these days. I'll stick with Arteta.

Outlandish prediction: Son to score more league goals than Kane this season.

Championship: Fulham

English League One: Ipswich

English League Two: Salford

Champions League Top Scorer: Haaland

Europa League: Leicester

Europa Conference League: Lincoln Red Imps to narrowly lose to Tottenham in the final

Yeah, pretty bad. Horrendous calls on Lukaku and Ramsdale in particular.

I was tempted to go for Lukaku as well. I thought my call on Billy Gilmour being the best transfer was quite a good choice at the time, but it really hasn't worked for him there.

You got the first manager to be sacked though ?

Yeah but Watford sacking their manager first is what we call a free hit
