Do we think our game with the Pikey's will be picked to show live?

Should be really, as a Derby and not really any other stand out ties. I imagine Newcastle and City will be shown - and predictably United against Swansea.

yeah I reckon it will based on new manager, what happened last season, local derby and no other real stand outs

I hope its on the sunday as I travel back from Turkey on the 16th

Everton away the last game? Really.

If we make WHL a fortress again, then all the games from late February to the end of the season aren't that bad.

But the fact we are away the first and last games is annoying.

I guess we'll have to win the title with a game to spare.

Wait a minute, Arsenal have West Brom the last game of the season.

Well, fuck me, that brigs back memories.

Ridiculous. Surely it shouldn't be so hard as to keep some of that more even?
To be fair they have Chelsea and Untied in their last 5 games. But in our last 13 games, we only play 2 of the top top teams.

Hmm the start is a difficult one to call - probably would have preferred a couple of mid to lower teams that weren't derbies to start with.

I think West Ham's cloggers will be a tough game while we're trying to find our feet under the new manager and I think QPR might have the 'Harry getting one over on us' factor.

Was totally expecting Southampton first game of the season though.

Nice run-in.

Is this the third season in a row that we've had Stoke Away very late on in the season?!

Season before last - with Dempsey's goal. Last season with Rose.

We are at home 7 out of 8 times after european ties this season , and that away prem game is after our final group tie when we might be in a position to rest players anyway....so i would say its a good fixture list.

That could be vital playing at home after a long trip.

Not a bad thing to be honest, as they have normally lost their huff and puff by this time of season.

I thought if you were home on the first day you'd be away on the last day? Seems a little unfair that we're away for both plus Boxing Day and Arsenal get all three at home.
Is that ex arsenal chairman David Dein still on the board of the FA?

Hmmmmm????

Totally agree. And its even worse going up there on a wet and windy January with the amount of foreign talent we boast lol

Can we PLEASE stop with the pathetic conspiracy theories. Imagine how ridiculous we look by saying everything good that happens to our rival clubs must be dodgy and unfair.

It really is stupid.

Yeah, of course, David Dein must have hacked the computer system which determines the fixtures. Or, if it's not done on a computer, he must have influenced the process.

k.

Jesus in the first 19 games we have to play City, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea! Fucking Hell.

And again in the last 19!! Fuck off!

Agree.

On another note, I am really intrigued by your choice of avatar and username. Do you have a fetish for white socks? Reminds me of that Bunion Boy guy...

Not a bad fixture list for us. The only tricky sections I can see are the Everton Home match on the Saturday followed by Chelsea away on the Wednesday, the Man Utd home game on Dec 28 followed by Chelsea at home on New Years Day and the Arsenal home game followed 3 days later by Liverpool away.

It's also really important that we win our matches after our Europa League ties this season as they are almost all winnable home matches. If we lose and draw them like we did last season we will not have the chance to make up the points in our home games.
