As much as i hate Mourinho for his many many negatives this is an extremely effective way to play a team so dependent on 1 person. He did it to us in the league cup final and it's a perfect way to negate chelsea.

Mourinho is the master of a one off game tactical plan.

It's a scrappy game, this is the shittest ManU team, in terms of quality, I've seen for years but they are aggressive and busy, sticking Herrera on Hazard isn't a bad move either, but they won't keep this up for 90 minutes, and I can see Chelsea gradually getting some kind of grip and it ending in a draw.

Unless Utd score a second.

Got to think Chelsea will come back into it. One Kante intercept and Pedro / Hazard will equalise. Get a second United!

Chelsea's counter attack efficiency is negated though because Utd always have four back against their front three. Fellaini and Pogba have actually been pretty adventurous both with and without the ball knowing the cover is there.

He's definitely quicker, but I think Victor is quite the athlete too. He's also more physical than Kante.

Young and Valencia are just there to man mark the wingbacks and go up and down the flanks. Azpilicueta will surely get binned and a more adventurous wide player put out there for Chelsea in the second half, and so have a bit of threat that Utd have to deal with.
