And the pendulum swings back to Wenger In.

Come on Arsenal fans, don't leave your comfort zone. Stick with the safe choice in Wenger and top 4 every season.

God this is impossible trying to decide who I want to miss out on top 4.
I get Man U will spend money anyway but I just cant stand Mourinho. I want Liverpool out as the media wank fest over them in first half of season was pathetic.
And obviously Arsenal goes without saying.
I think Liverpool will bottle it though and Arsenal will once again get 4th.
Liverpool legends lol.

Cant believe this. We beat them when they realistically needed to win for top 4 and they will still get it

Key game for them is stoke away next

Hoping that Man City miss out on the top 4, even if it's to Arsenal's gain.

If Kyle Walker left despite them having no champions league football, it'd make him look even worse for leaving us.

Reverse legends?

In recent years they've been very good at losing enough to take the pressure off by not being actively in a title race, and then once there's little pressure on them they turn the performances in again. Same in CL.

Liverpool should be worried right now, having said that Spam will be on the come down after their trophy celebrations last weekend.

this is so wenger's goon squad, as soon as their objectives for the season seem lost, they go on a winning streak

just enjoying watching "the race for 4th"...from our comfortable 2nd place penthouse balcony...sipping pina coladas

I can't see Liverpool not fkin this up to be honest. Only way they'll do it is if Arsenal drop points because Liverpool will definitely drop some.

It's nice not to be involved in the top four race, we can sit back and chill.

Absolutely, this is why it's better to drill into the squad that winning the title is the aim, at least then if you fail (like we have done in the past 2 seasons), the runs that we have been on trying to catch the team in 1st have helped secure our automatic CL spot. Whereas aiming just for 4th is a dangerous thing to do.

Easier said than done, but instilling the mentality that we need to try and go out and win every game is a great mentality to have.

WCS:- We slip to 3rd. Arsenal get top 4 and win FA Cup. Man U win Europa and get CL place.
NOOOOOOOO

Christ I'd be distraught.

I think they are inferring our rivals would win trophies (Chelsea, Arse, Utd) & City would finish above us and what was a promising season would have a real bitter ending. Especially with 5 teams in the CL.

But fuck it. It is an achievement to finish top four with the calibre in this league at the mo. Make no mistakes.

Best case scenario:

We finish 2nd
Ajax win the europa league
Chelsea do the double
Liverpool finish 4th - lose the qualifier
Actually Liverpool need to qualify and go out after the group stages, just a bit concerned about the English coefficient should we continue to perform poorly in Europe. Don't want the EPL to drop to 3 teams!
