I'm so utterly sick of the big teams continually getting an easy ride from refs. There is no way in hell that the ref cannot send Costa off. He saw it, and it was at least a yellow. I don't think refs are corrupt, so my only explanation is that they continually bottle it. It's fucking pathetic.

Wash your mouth out mate Chelsea are not a big team

Thats that then. Chelsea won the league.

Oh wait there's only one game played. Their fans certainly celebrated as if they had won it though.

I come on here to see the score, it's so funny. You guys are hilarious, just chill out,

So what if they dived and stuff. They won, in actual fact we could learn a thing or two about scoring at the death.

It's TV mate.

Sky don't want players sent off. That puts great pressure on refs.

Nothing to do with learning, if we had a level playing field I'd have no complaints, Kane done that he's off and we don't get the last minute winner, Costa shouldn't have been on to score thus we'd have nothing to learn...

Have to say after the first set of games (can all change I know) I haven't really been impressed with City, United or Chelsea at all.

Liverpool looked good but then again I only started watching at some point in the second half and apparently the game was different in the first half.

Oh and West Ham may very well struggle this season, European football, no real great additions although Ayew may be good and no fortress of a home ground anymore.
City, utd , chelsea all won their game while 3 of the settled sides like leicester, arsenal lost and spurs drew...

Let's look at the teams they played against though for starters

United played Bournemouth. Handy enough when Boric is in goal.
City played Sunderland who are absolutely dogshit and only survive with 1 or 2 games to go most seasons.
Chelsea played Wham who were not even in the game tonight. They might as well have not shown up.

Arsenal played Liverpool who are as bad in defence as they are good going forward.
Leicester well that was laughable losing to a team with 13 fit first teamers. Good enough for the pricks they had enough rub last season.
We played Everton which is a tough place to go, a new manager, and they ran us close for 60 mins but couldn't keep up the intensity. We should have won our game but yet again we came up against a keeper in great form.

I'm not saying that we have nothing to fear but had the games been reversed and we'd have played one of the 3 piss teams that United, City or Chelsea did we would have won as well

So that means I have to be impressed with them? All I can credit those 3 for is still finding a way to win, but I'd certainly be lying if I said I was impressed by the performances of any of them.

Refs should be made to explain their decisions post-match. Kante and Costa shouldn't be on the pitch.
Agreed. Now that players aren't allowed to hound the ref i feel it should give them more clear authority on the pitch, with their judgment not been influenced by players hounding them.(Although I realise that even with this rule in place it may still not transpire.)
