There is something to be said about the sort of "professionalism" the people in the PL show, one of the reasons I admire Poch is he would know when to keep his thoughts to himself, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind this league is corrupt to a certain level but nobody wants to believe English football has a corruption problem.
I don't think there is corruption to an Italian or ex-Soviet state levels, back in the day. Maybe a more subtle favours for mates type thing, but that is very hard to prove. There's no doubt that when Fergie ruled the roost, some of the clubs managed by his ex-players, and that were around Greater Manchester and reliant on United for loans, used to lay down to have their tummies ticked regularly. But that's just the way the world works isn't it. Who you know, not what you know. Blame capitalism or human nature.

Nothing suspicious about that whatsoever.

It's all fun and games at Sunderland.

"I'd be kidding if I said the players we're going to bring will massively make a big difference," said Moyes, 53.

"We probably couldn't get that level of player and probably wouldn't have the finances."

He added: "To suggest the players we bring in would be making a big difference, I think, wouldn't be correct."

Wrist slitting stuff...

think Tommy C should have pulled that one back to the spot and Swans would have scored. Good play by the spurs old boys though.

The ****s aren't creating much but you just know... Once the first goes in the floodgates open

Swansea aren't doing too bad... They're so toothless and no backbone tho

Every time Mawson gets a mention in this game I can't help but think of Michael Dawson in a Look Around You-style "Thanks ants. Thants." reference.

Swansea look much better defensively than they looked under Bradley and the other guy.
Agree. They actually have a recognizable shape. I even saw a player react to a loose ball in their area...unlike for Arsenal's first against them.

Jesus that's depressing for their fans. Since day one he's hardly been inspiring.
