Although I don’t disagree. You can’t say that having say a Toby and Verts at the back wouldn’t improve them massively. Would probably help offensively as well.

Think they would improve them but they have no defensive protection which is where the weak spot is, instead Klopp likes to deploy CMF's, doesn't matter how good you are at defending when you're exposed you're vulnerable.

Yeah when the shape is not right and where there is no protection even excellent defenders will struggle as they'll get pulled out of position.

Shame the Geordies could nick that at the end. Still good result. Hope we can finally get a result at Anfield this season. With Sanchez adding some pace at the back now I fancy us to outscore them.

Are the Dippers really all that amazing up front like everyone says? Making but missing loads of chances and not winning as a result is not good attacking. They've scored less than us and the Manchester clubs already when typically they seem to come out of the blocks fast and then die around Christmas.

Seem very fair weather, when the going is good they tear teams apart but if it isn't 100% in their favour, they struggle massively.

Hopefully Poch will finally develop a system that doesn't play right into their hands and takes advantage of that.

These results are happening to them more often than not now. Remain resilient and you'll always have a chance, in fact let them have chances and you'll always be in with a shout because their attackers are nowhere near clinical enough.

I actually thought they'd have a storming start and then falter over Xmas, like last year, but there's a very real chance they'll have fallen well behind by January now.

The great thing about this situation is that Klopp team runs on energy and confidence, without that they'll find it extremely difficult to get momentum again. At least we can play poor, deserve to lose but get a win.

They lack a clinical striker like Kane. Said this elsewhere but look at the other top teams, we all have a player who fits the mould. Liverpool's attackers lack the goal scoring consistency, a predator who you can bet on scoring in any game.

Now that the novelty factor of the ridiculous pace of the Salah/Mane duo has worn off most people, even Scouse pundits, are seeing that they don't have the clinical match winners the other assumed top 6 have and there's no doubt that it holds them back. I'm confident they'll be 5th or 6th in the end.

Given the investment, and delusional expectations, think he's (Klopp) fairly likely to be under huge pressure by xmas.

I hate all this 'fab four' bollocks that the media are coming up with to describe Liverpool's attack. They'll find anything to suck Liverpool's cock and try and make it out to be more amazing than it actually is.

Note that as per usual Sky's pundit representing Liverpool's opponent actually spent longer at Liverpool.
