I'm at 55 minutes into the City/Chelsea game and got to say I find some of Neville’s commentary and observations really hyperbolic and stupid.

It's getting really boring listening to him rant at teams for going to City and being pragmatic. Very few teams have managed to get anything other than mullered doing anything else, especially at City.

He definitely seems to go over the top on purpose sometimes, I've noticed it most today and a few times about Arsenal. Not that I'm overly bothered about either of those teams getting criticised.

Chelsea didn't even muster a shot on target today. Their performance was fucking embarrassing. He's bang on with his criticism.

What an awful, awful game of football.

That could have been Pulis' Stoke v Allardyce's Bolton if it wasn't for Sane.

Great weekend for us and Liverpool so far. Come on Palace!

Arsenal and Chelsea seem broken. If we would have played like that today i would be ashamed. I'm all for sitting deep against City but they were all walking around, no energy, no pressing in their own half, no one liked like they gave one shit.

This is the worst Chelsea team i have seen in a while, something is really wrong at the club currently. Conte will likely walk in a few weeks, as Neville said, he probably put more yards in on the touchline then some of them out there.

I hope we come out and fight them next month. Fuck doing what Chelsea just did. Cowards.

Do yourself a favour, switch off and stare at a rock for the next half an hour, it'll be more exciting.

Regarding Neville, when a team like Brighton or Bournemouth do that, fair enough. Chelsea are the defending champions and have a squad that also cost hundreds of millions of pounds. For them to play like that with absolutely zero ambition is just embarrassing. They don't get a bonus point for only losing 1-0.

Neville isn't criticising them for being pragmatic, he's criticising them for being fucking lifeless, there's a massive difference.

Chelsea pulled off a very good performance and result a couple of seasons ago at City, which was pragmatic and very discplined but they broke with speed and played with a far higher intensity than they did today.

That was pretty pathetic in all honesty, City never out of first gear either.

You have to be pragmatic in a game like this, but you've got to show more desire than that.

Not that I'm complaining, great result for us, but Neville was right.
