This Arsenal midfield will get torn apart by a good team. Ceballos is OK when attacking but gives the ball away far too much in defensive situations.

Arsenal are massively suspect against crosses into the box. Hope everyone in the league is taking notes.

I missed the goal was it the usual gooey soft centred Arsenal defending or a good goal

I know it's obviously early days but regardless of how it ends it looks like same old Arsenal, which is only a good thing.

I think David Luiz is infuriating, tries to do way too much for a CB. The best CB's keep it simple.

The pass in to Barnes took a huge deflection but he was completely alone inside the area having done a body feint that tricked Luiz into losing him.

Exactly, a good organised and switched on defence will cancel out lucky situations such as that. A good coach won't go into training saying we conceded a lucky goal, they will be trying to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I saw the VAR decision I said before that I felt it would help lower table sides out a lot against the top sides

Feel a bit sorry for Pepe. No one knows who he is. First Keown says he tore Monreal apart last season - that was Rennes and Sarr who just signed for Watford - and now the commentators on NBC say 'there's Pepe again..' when the ball was with Maitland-Niles and Pepe was in the middle where he'd stopped his run after Lacazette turned away instead of trying to put him in.

A couple of things have just occurred to me whilst watching the scum;

1. It doesn't matter if they are decent or shit, we are better than them. They have some decent players and a fantastic front 2, but we have got better players and are a far better init. Let's not get carried away by how close it was last year, we are 10-15 points better than them without doubt.

2. I really hope that we really go at them as they wilt under pressure. In the league game last year we were knackered after a huge week. This time we wont be and I want us to press the shit out of them just as Burnley are.
