I had no idea why people were getting so excited over Everton.

Theyll be 7/8th
The way they're currently playing, they'll be lucky to get that. I could easily see Leicester and Wolves finishing above them and there's bound to be a surprise team this season too.

Everton and West Ham are the two most underperforming clubs in the league. Every season they spend big money on transfers and salaries but they’re still so average

Yes, Everton have spent a fair amount of the last couple of seasons. Must be frustrating for the fans. Fine margins at this level and so, so competitive at the top end.

Oh well, fuck 'em.

Nearly every Everton player had two left feet in that game. It was comical how bad Gomes played. They were abysmal. They'll be hoping to just chalk that off to a bad day, because if it isn't then they won't make top half.

Lovely evening for Villa. An important win for them to settle in and good for Wesley to get off the mark.

Everton are better at home prob struggle away games. Have to see how Wolves cope with Europe every team that plays Europe for first time struggles in the league

It’s the fact that people equate money spent to success. Or “ambition” which I think is the dumbest saying in world football during a transfer window.

Even though spending smartly is really the true factor and while Everton don’t seem to buy outright flops they don’t really buy bargains either. They also haven’t really had a star player pop out of nowhere like we’ve had or sides like Leicester have had. Not to mention they spend so much on overpriced domestic talents like Sigurdsson and Iwobi.

It seems like their hopes rest on whether Kean and Gbamin can be stars and we’re yet to see it.

Also surprised that they seemed to have a really promising crop of youth products bubbling under the surface and now it looks like Silva doesn’t want anything to do with any of them.

In bygone days, if Spurs produced what everton just did, the weekend would be ruined and I'd be fuming for days.

Everton aren't as bad as they were tonight, but Iwobi doesn't solve any issues for them at all and arsenal surely cant believe their luck. Everton are poor up front, and their season might hinge on Kean performing to a high level.

Come on Norwich. I reckon they might be able to get some thing. Good team this year.

Surprised that Willian is not picked. After Hazard, they wanna have that creative link in midfield. Abraham imo is not good enough for the level of PL.

That Chelsea side scares absolutely nobody. Norwich can get something from this.

Enjoy watching Norwich.
Also Wolves, oh and West Ham but that's for totally different reasons :)
thought Villa did ok last night.
