I've never seen the "pin an opposing player deep so he can't play your teammate offsides" move before. Interesting.

Crazy that offside took so long. He looked a couple of feet off. (from the line they drew on Danjuma)

And it appeared they moved on from that to look to see if a man was offside when the shot came in and was interfering with the keepers line of sight :confused:

They have the best people in academy setup, best scouting network, best decision makers...all fueled by oil money ofcourse. But that gives no guarantee whats so ever that, academy players will get developed and get a look in , let alone be stars. And ofcourse, Pep has a huge part here.

By the way, that City winner....was scored by a City academy player overcoming Trippier, ex-City academy player when City oil era started.
Weird because City's U21 sit bottom of the U21 league.
