It's ridiculous that on the 23rd of January we will have played half our league games. This is definitely going to affect us for the rest of the season. Absolute piss take.

For me, covid postponements are getting ridiculous. It should be a minimum of 10 covid cases in the first team squad of 25 to consider a postponement.

For me, if you have a squad of 25, a reserves and youth team then that would help replenish numbers. It stops fixture congestions, which we also bitch about
Obviously, it's not a case of Covid, as Arsenal have only one. It's that the Premiere League is here to maximize profit. A half strength Arsenal will not attract that many TV viewers around the world. The League wanted as many star players on display as possible so as to generate as much TV revenue as possible. As for congestion fixtures down the road, the League's attitude is we will cross the bridge when we get there. So you have it. Money trumps everything. Fairness to teams, safety concerns for players, consideration for the paying customers -- all take a backseat to profit. Greed has no boundaries.

I don’t think Spurs will ever get a fair deal in the media or the Premier League. This is because they are heavily influenced by fans of Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham. All this teams have a pathological hatred of us.

The Premier League are making a rod for their own back here.
I understand postponements due to Covid, especially when there is a genuine outbreak and clubs shut training grounds etc to prevent spread, but not for 'other unavailability'.

The key point here is burden of proof. Covid is tangible, positive tests can be provided and it is black & white. Injuries are not; clubs simply should not be allowed to use injuries as an excuse as they cannot be proven.
If Arsenal provided a list of 'injured' players to the PL, I wonder just how many played against Liverpool and will play again in the second leg?

If injuries weren't a reason and it was simply 4 AFCON, 1 suspension and 2 Covid then the answer should have been a very quick 'do one'.
