I love this quote from RAWK

My son was physically sick when I told him the result today.

This is no exaggeration he actually vomited. He feels ill at the thought of losing to Wigan.

I'm just watching MOTD now. How the fuck was Hoillet not given a penalty for that challenge when it was 0-0. One of the worst decisions I've seen this year.

Was a stone-waller - Steinson (sp?) just stepped across and tripped him up, so blatant.

Newcastle are clinical. Ben Arfa would improve any side in the PL, coming in off the right. He has one of the meanest, most precise shots in the league.

Newcastle are developing into such a good team. Undeniably better than Liverpool in terms of both individual players and as a team.

By the way, I'd find it utterly hilarious if Sunderland, Everton, Swansea and Norwich all finished above Liverpool. Only 3 points separate all 5 teams.

Clinical indeed.

Cisse picking up where he left off in the Bundesliga.

Hodgson for England

BTW that is Newcastle now level on points with Chelsea, does anyone see them as a threat to us finishing 3rd ?

I have to be honest, I fucking hated Newcastle that season they got relegated, and couldn't wait for them to rot in the Championship. But now every time I watch them I smile, and love their football. I'm not a great fan of Pardew or Ashley, but what they have done this season is incredible. They have a really, really good team, and apart from wanting us to sign 3 or 4 of their players I really hope they can progress next season and really push Liverpool.

Nah. They still aren't nearly consistant enough, and I'm pretty sure they still have to play Liverpool, City and Everton. Not going to be easy.

What is this fuckwad waffling about. It's a yellow card. Ghandi could have made that tackle, it's still a yellow.

Good little ball back across by Evans instead of leathering the ball from a silly angle in panic.

Have to agree with you there - I was so happy to see the Newcastle circus go down. But the drop seems to have done them a favour. Will interesting to see what happens to them over the summer.
