Nope. This is shaping up to be a tight top 4-6 this year and that's where the focus should be. Think we have a run after tonight's match of three games in about six days. Too much to handle for this squad if you ask me.
I’m with you on the race for the top 4- it’s shaping up to be really tough. And like other posters have said, we really don’t want the Europa league. I still think we could edge second but if it came down to securing CL for next year and we sorted the squad out in the summer, I’d be much happier with that than missing CL next year at the expense of a good CL run.
I still scream and shout this evening though

I would like us to move into our new stadium, I'll go from there to be honest.

For what ever it's worth, I wasn't overly impressed with people attaching 'To Dare is to Do' to shitty transfers either. Modern age society I guess.

And I'm not overly impressed by your basic reading comprehension skills, I was talking about being in the CL not the lack of transfers fella... Funny your point out modern age society when you're coming across as self entitled, wallowing in self pity about the stadium lol

The sky is definitely caving in in your world isn't it :D

I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to feel that way too

And we definitely don't want to drop into the Europa League

I'd rather that than have nothing at all. Maybe the fringe players, even KWP and Skipp etc, might get valuable experience and game time. Whilst still giving us another trophy to aim for.

If by caving you mean having an opinion on certain subjects and answering your questions, then sure.

Fuck a duck.

I don't want us to progress in the Champions League this season. I'd like to play in our new stadium this season ...

Self entitled and my world caving in eh?

:ROFLMAO: oy vey.

I hope that Poch has a plan (keeping this football just in case people are worried about my reading comp.) & he knows what he wants on all fronts - I understand that winning every game is the 'goal' but I am sure he has his own realistic expectations and goals for this season.

League for me. The rest, there is always next year.

Must win and hope Barca beat Inter.

Either result not happening I think it would be too much to do to get out the group then.

Have to agree, be nice to put up a decent showing in our last 4 group games pick up 6/7 points but really wouldn’t be disappointed if we finished 4th in the group. Given all our rivals for a champions league place are more than likely to be involved in Europe gone Christmas least it will give us an advantage in the second half of the season only playing on the odd occasion twice in a week so help freshen the squad up abit.

All for qualifying of course, but if that's not possible please, for the love of God, not finishing third and Europa - fuck no.

Top 4 will be very difficult as it is without that heavy fucking burden of playing in outer Mongolia.

Crazy they have x18 players who are 23 or under. This is what worries me in that really this lot could be anything. Only encouragement is they lost to inter.

Do any Irish channels (free) show CL games mate?

Not tonight unfortunately.
Last night they had AEK v B.M on RTe2 followed by United v Juve on Virgin1 (ITV)

The other games tonight are all pay jobbies /red button with VirginSports BT/Eir.

Sorry

Im really not positive about our champions league chances this year. We just haven’t got the boundless enthusiasm and energy that we had last season.
