Am I right that Dembele is now suspended for the next game?? A midfield without Sandro and Mous against United would be shocking.

Mbia is playing a blinder. Only person I've seen muscle Dembele off the ball all season. Dawson playing awesome as well, saved us a few times. Bit toothless from us other than that. Only time we've looked at all threatening is when Defoe has dropped off and then linked up with Ade

Okay, Earth to AVB (not new, same was for Harry):

EVERYTIME you put Bale on the right side you effectively make him, and the attacking play of Spurs, useless.

So PLEASE switch Lennon and Bale back and sub out the attacking cul-de-sac known as Naughton for Caulker. Verts on the left with Bale out there will free everyone up.

Truly, QPR offer little attacking threat and Spurs need to play to their own strength!! COYS!!!

Spurs are gonna, or at least should, win this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you mean fouling things.

There is the odd foul in here and there but he is like sandro in that he is just a combative midfielder so will foul now and again its up to the ref to sort it out. He doesnt seem a dirty player.

No proper creative player = no lock picker. They'll put the same wall up in the second half and we'll be bored to death for another 45mins. We need to counter at speed, bring dempsey and benny on.

Seriously we dominate every midfield in the league and getting mugged off by Park, Derry and M'Bia. Disgraceful.

Performance reeks of complacency.

Negatives

Dembele has been awful; I've always told everyone how he 'never loses the ball' I think he's lost it in this game more times than he has all season.

Dawson good defending but cut out them hopeless long balls.

Parker is actually more suited to this game than Sandro because of his better technical ability.

Bale anonymous... Far too inconsistent to be 'world class'

Adebayor is just bereft of any confidence at the moment, not sure what's going on behind the scenes but his first touch is woeful.

Walker has gifted them their two best chances as he still can't defend to save his life - He loses his many constantly; liability.

Their animal like fans booing Lennon for being obviously failed... Nice one.

M'Bia - First of all thought he was 'dominating' but now on reflection he's just fouling again and again.

The referee is clearly scared to give anything for us.

Positives
Feel Defoe is growing more and more into the 'all round' style of play AVB wants- Still not ideal though for one up top.

We know how options on the bench to change this up - Would bring Dempsey on for Adebayor.

Come on Dawson cant be blamed, he is a defender and has done his job well!
Lennon isn't great, what's he doing on the left? And he can't seem to take anyone on.
Ade and defoe are both poor.

We lack a creative MF.

We need to pick it up and AVB needs to tweak some tactics to draw QPR out

Worst thing is the useless **** Lee Probert is letting him get away with everything too.

Guaranteed he would have booked Bale for the dive that Tarabt did as well. Wanker.

All a bit laboured, obviously they are going to sit narrow and try and frustrate so we have to move them around better and move the ball faster.

Ade needs to give us something (should have scored) more, and Dembele needs to get his act together as he's been a bit of a liability in the 1st half.
Lennon also is not having any joy.

Possible changes, Dempsey/Gylfi for Lennon or BAE for Naughton, just as a better/quicker user of the ball.

Dire game. Some people need to chill though as on balance we haven't been the weaker side, QPR are just doing a good job of frustrating us and haven't even had a shot on target.

Dembele is missing in action, his worst game for us so far by a mile.

Ade has been a joke, how many time has he lost the ball?

Ade sometimes looks as if his feet are being controlled by, to misquote Gary Neville, a spaz on a PlayStation.

He's not a great striker by an stretch of the imagination.

Whilst there are things to work on, let's not all hit the panic button and proclaim how shit we are as QPR are doing to us what they've done to Chelsea previously.

Second half, I would like to think we will gain more of a foothold in the middle of the park and they will drop deeper but we need to be patient and not having to resort to shooting from distance all the time. Width and overlapping from Naughton and Walker needs to be more prominent and someone like Dempsey might well prove to be a match winner in a game like this.

QPR have barely tested our goal and a frustrated Taarabt can only be a good thing so as long as we don't do anything stupid (Walker I'm looking at you) then we should be restricting them to just half chances.

In all honesty, I don't think we are playing that badly. But Bale and Lennon need to get more into the game.
Something is not right with Ade's head. His first touch has been poor for many games.
Defoe is never known for holding up the ball but he scores from nowhere. So i will keep him in the 2nd half.
I am not sure if it's me but I am getting sick of Dawson spraying that dreaded long ball which goes to no one!!
Otherwise, I think we should nick in a goal in the 2nd half. My prediction is 1-0 to Spurs.

Not impressed but the pitch is so small we can't play our natural game and they are well up for it as expected. Harry knows to leave Dawson with the ball. We are missing that creative player to do something in the middle in the final third. Won't work on the wings today
