My mate and fellow ST holder has a friend who will interview the great man for 442 Magazine. He asked me if I had any questions.

I feel all the obvious ones have already been asked so was wondering if anyone had anything a bit different.

I couldn't think of any apart from:

1. Were you a better player than Steven Gerrard is now (I think he's not fit to wipe your arse)
2. Please explain Bunjy, Acimovic and the 88th minute subs?
3. Why did you have to leave us in 1987 and break our hearts?

I probably wont ask these as the first two he won't answer honestly and the third one sounds a bit, well, gay (but it did break my 9-year-old heart at the time). Any ideas?

Q.
You once said in the 1980's that the VW Scirocco Storm was the best car you ever had.

Is this still the case?

Well seeing as he was a world class passer of the ball.....

Tom Huddlestone's a superb passer of the ball, but what does he need to do, to develop into a superb player?

Q - Why did you agree to pay £8.1m for Dean Richards, who I still believe is the highest transfer for anyone who had failed to ever represent their country

Q - Why did you hate Sergei Rebrov so much that he became a bigger nervous wreck than Gazza

Q - Would you ever consider coming back as our DOF

Why did you drop Gazza? Do you feel responsible for his downfall since you couldn't manage him?

I think the Hudd question is a must ask. Dont ask any questions about his managing days if I were the interviewer. I am sure he still feels bitter about those days

Whatever you ask GH I bet he is going to reply .. "At the end of the day blah blah"

He couldn't stop saying that when he was England manager.

This is a great, and actually vaguely realistic, question.

You started off very promisingly as Spurs manager, then it all went tits-up. What happened? Was the weight of expectation too much, or do you feel you were undermined?

"Do you ever stick 'Diamond Lights' on the record player when at home alone and have a sing along?"

More seriously:
"Does it annoy you that the only manager other than Keith Burkinshaw who appreciated and fully utilised your immense talent as a player was Arsene Wenger?"

Do you think that being a religious wacko has effected your career?

Will Chelsea fans look at Fat Lampard in 20 years time, the same way Spurs fans look at you now?

Why didn't you get Wenger to managed Spurs before he managed Arse?

I love you.

If you were given a chance to return as manager, what would you do to the current team to ensure they return to the glory glory days? How would you organise the tactics? Who would be playing, and in which position?

Also, to remind him that there has never been any other player in a spurs shirt EVER who was better than him.

What game would you say you played the best in your career in? (Ajax? Liverpool 2-2 draw?)

Can we keep that kind of things for PMs, please? I'm sure HAs1978 is very flattered but we really don't need to hear about it.

On Topic: I'd be very interested to hear his views on the structure that Spurs use: Sporting Director and Manager. Does he prefer working with a DoF? Does it suit other managers? If so, who in the Premier League could do with a DoF? What are the benefits and costs?

Also, ask him about playing age. He played until quite late in his career but could still ping a pass 60 yards onto a sixpence. Is there room for this kind of older player in the modern game or has the pace got too fast?

Ask him if he still plays. And who for? Does he pretend to be me when I was 6 years old in my garden? Would be a bit weird but there would be a certain symmetry in it.
