So, I guess a draw would be more than OK on Tuesday. Fourth in our hands against a safe Sunderland.

Sadly we have to sacrifice a nice club like Wigan but the needs of the mighty Spurs take precedence in these situations.
A draw on Tuesday is perfect - as good as a Wigan win for us really, it means if we win our game with have CL football.

A loss is of no real benefit to us over a draw because of Arsenal's goal difference being so superior

I want a Wigan win though to give Wigan a fighting chance of survival on final day

Not helped by Newcastle having their keeper sent off today - isn't he their second choice already due to Krul's injury meaning Arsenal will face a third choice keeper on final day

Maybe Newcastle will get special dispensation to loan Fulop for the last game..

Harper came on after the sending off, I guess the younger guy was keeping him out the side. He's an experienced deputy though.

Yes. From this point I think we'll beat Sunderland. Can't see Arse losing to Wigan but I do think they will drop points to Newcastle.

Better than being a Alnwick type back up keeper I guess

Still he's probably 3rd choice for a reason now and it would seem to be a benefit to Arsenal - I don't really think Newcastle will turn up now they're safe. I am pinning most of my hopes of CL football on Wigan getting something off the Goons Tue

Wigan will have to chuck everything at it including the kitchen sink. A draw would suit us as well but not for them. I hope Kone, Mcmanaman can work their magic

If Wigan draw Di Canio's team may take it easy as they're safe. With Adebayor on form we will give it a good go

Although Pardew and Wenger dislike each other, Newcastle will roll over like a jack russell now they're safe

I think Wigan will be a harder game for them than Newcastle, who now safe and without their first two choice keepers are likely to be off on their holidays by next weekend (not to mention their current fine home form of 0-6 and 0-3)

Sunderland will go into our match with only around 14 available senior players. If we can't beat them at home then we have no right to be expecting to be playing Real, Bayern, Juve etc next season.

So yes, we can do it. Besides, this is the new hardcore, Terminator-esque never say die Spurs!

Disagree, they will want to guarantee that they finish above Sunderland. They owe it to their fans to go out on a high, Pardew said as much an an interview earlier today. I have a feeling Toon will get a draw.

but how many of their current squad really know about or respect the level of importance to the fans of finishing above Sunderland?

I think most of them will just be happy the job is done and already be thinking of the beaches in Marbella

They've lost their last 2 home games 0-6 to Liverpool and 0-3 to Sunderland - I don't hold out much hope of them turning Arsenal over if I am honest

Wigan to me represent our best chance of an Arsenal slip up - they'll be on a high after the cup win and have their very lives to fight for. Plus they've shown themselves capable of upsetting the big boys

Would love to agree with you but I'm not sure their band if mercenaries give a monkeys about finishing above Sunderland.

I can't imagine Newcastle rolling over after their recent humiliations and it may be Colocinni's last game for them. They still might not be good enough to nick a point though.
