We win tomorrow and both Cesspool and Chelscum will be under intense pressure at the weekend, when we need only a draw for 4th place. Win it and we're 3rd. So we are still in the best position of the 3 teams vying for 3rd and 4th place.

With Southampton playing Man City on the final day of the season, a point for Huddersfield against Chelsea could be absolutely priceless.

Hopefully a draw tonight between Swansea and Southampton, or even a Swansea win would give Huddersfield the push they need to do it at Chelsea.

They managed to take a point from the best team in the country...but you know how this usually goes when Spurs need another team to do them a favour :banghead:
Apparently the Huddersfield players were 'on their knees' after chasing City players around in the heat for 95 mins. Can't see them doing it again at Chelsea and may even rest up a couple with their final home game in mind.

Honestly think we'll smash both Newcastle and Leicester

I don’t know about smash but feel confident we’ll get the necessary 4 points.

Much more chance of us winning both than losing or drawing both but most on here will have you think it’s the other way round. Don’t get me wrong, I get it, our form isn’t great but we’ve shown under Poch that these spells don’t last long and I think the players will be going full throttle come tomorrow.

I don't know about you guys , but I'm so annoyed with this team. How have they managed to mess up a 10 point lead on chelsea and put themselves in this position ffs? Chelsea of all clubs aswell. It's almost like they do this on purpose to the supporters. No other way you can describe how season after season we manage to shoot ourselves in the foot and let our rivals in with a chance. We should of never been this position and should of had it wrapped up weeks ago.

People are going on like Newcastle and Leicester are Manchester City and Liverpool.

Thing is Newcastle have been a bogey team for us in recent years, and even when they've had a lot worse and more badly organised sides than their current one.

don't think it's particularly relevant who the opposition is, more the fact we're in poor form and have been for a few weeks now. can't take anything for granted when momentum isn't on your side.

Just paid for my season tickets for next season. Now if that isn’t all the impetus this team needs to push on and get top 4 after Sunday, then I don’t know what is!

Obviously I want us to do it, and do it in style and come 3rd. But I’m actually now interested to see what happens as I think it tells us everything we need to know as to where things are at. To lose a 10 pt lead and better GD with 6 games to go. Would unquestionably be the biggest bottle job in history of PL. imagine if that gap was for a title it’s unthinkable.

You forgot about the time Newcastle blew it! Arsenal did Utd, even Liverpool blowing the title with 3 games to go?

With the form we're in it's looking like the team are going to make far bigger a meal of the games than they need to

That's the issue - we've looked rotten recently

The home crowd need to massively get behind the team - these two games are huge

The truth of the matter is that Brighton and West Brom away were always going to be harder games than Watford, Newcastle and Leicester at home. Some (a lot of?) posters just didn't do their homework (or gave no thought to context) and assumed that we'd breeze through those games as they were against a newly promoted side and the bottom club.

Didn't you know that Brighton's home record is the 8th best in the league? Wasn't it obvious that since sacking Pardew West Brom have turned back into a Premier League team?

We worked hard to build up that 10 point advantage (and did anyone realistically expect it to still be 10 points following the City game?) so that we had some leeway with trickier fixtures at the business end of the season. Now it's got to squeaky bum time it seems that many of the posters on here can't hack it. I hope the players have bigger stones...
