Replaced him with Salah. I know who I'd rather have...

Liverpool problems aren't attacking midfielders.

True, I’d take Salah over Sterling. I’d rather have Sterling in my side if it meant winning the league ( City ) as opposed to finishing 5th ( Liverpool ) though.

Why?

Are we not playing more youth.
Have we dropped.
Do we play Sissoko.
have an unhappy player in Rose on our roster.
Have no real back up Striker to Kane again.
Constantly leave Son out to play Sissoko instead.
Are we Below Burnley FFS

Feels like the shittiest week of football for us all round for a long while :-(

Big test for Poch and his side. I’m hopeful he’ll pass it, of sorts. Definitely going backwards in terms of league finish this year though. 100%

I'm pretty confident too IF coco is really fit he might shame the others with his enthusiasm and tempo of his play. Will he get played tho :)

If anyone moans about us strengthening rivals by selling our best players....what have the world famous Liverpool done with Sterling???
LFC sold him after finishing 6th in the league, we sold Walker after finishing above City for a second season in a row strengthening them in a position they were desperate to whilst weakening ourselves in the process. Incomparable the 2 transfers as we were in a position of strength!

I think he will. Poch loved him before the injury didn’t he. He works hard, Poch values that above anything else, even technical ability ( not including Lamela in that obviously! )

Need a run of wins desperately but not only that the performances need to improve and we need to get that drive and energy back that made us so strong. I have a feeling that City game will be crucial, get beaten and it could knock our confidence in the league, win and it could just give us that belief and determination back.

Can't help but feel really down that we have gone from 2nd to 7th in the space of just over a week. Just goes to show what diabolical form we are currently in and how everyone else around us is picking up points. We could be out of this top 4 race by Xmas if we don't start winning. Horrible to see us below Burnley and nkw 4 points behind that shit average Arsenal side.

Eriksen is elite level too. He’s had 3 poor games in a row and suddenly people are rating Coutinho and Ozil above him. Them two ****s have had dozens of shit spells, often lasting longer than 3 games too.
Eriksen has so much credit with us over the past two seasons that he doesn’t deserve to be getting grief just yet.

Our issue is when he isn’t firing. It’s not a coincidence that Dele usually looks very average when playing for England. Eriksen makes us tick. Hopefully Lamela takes some of the workload now and then in Jan we act early and bring in a Barkley or Lanzini etc

I don't believe Ozil is better than Eriksen, but the gap is not massive. But look at the amount of attacking options Arsenal have compared to us. They have Giroud, Lacazette, Ozil, Sanchez, Welbeck, Iwobi, Walcott. Liverpool also have a lot more options than us going forward imo.

We have to run Dele, Kane and Eriksen into the ground pretty much. Poch rarely rests any of those 3 for Son from the start of games.

Whilst I’m personally not bothered about recent results/slide down the table, it does show how tough it is in the PL where the top 7/8 teams win consistently and how quickly you can find yourself sliding down the table with a patch of bad form. Liverpool were miles behind us after we beat them and now they’re looking comfortably better.

A couple of weeks ago we were W 6 D 2 L 1 in the league, now we’re at W 7 D 3 L 4 from seemingly out of nowhere.

The really annoying part is our capitulation against Arsenal has ruined us and catapulted them into great domestic form.

Whilst it's good to have options sometimes the key to success is having a consistent team. Look at Madrid in the CL, Chelsea last season and countless other examples. Arsenal have long had problems with shuffling the pack. I also think that 4 of those 7 you mentioned aren't particularly good options. 2 of the other three are very much on their way.

I personally think we will finish 7th this season, we are where we deserve to be in the table right now.

This is what happens when the players do not turn up for games and don't fight in every game.

You don't see other clubs giving up just because the title might be out of reach.

Really disappointed right now, if only the team that turns up in the CL games could turn up in the PL.

This is really annoying, have you taken into account that the ops might of upped their game against us on the day? Arse WBA and Leicester all played well.

When you say fight, then why did we score the equaliser v WBA, or get a goal v Leicester and try hard to get an equaliser?

The trouble is we don’t have enough depth with the same quality as cover, Eriksen’s form at the moment is most probably down to tiredness, Kane and Alli might of returned to early, plus we are missing 2 vital players that were the spine of our team last season in Toby and Wanyama.

After the comment I’m quoting I think you need to go take a long hard look in the mirror:whistle:

I think the team morale is at an all-time low; it has to. The coaching staffs have alot to do to gear the lads into fighters now. We have the quality, it really is the passion in wanting to win. The league should really be our top most priority now.

And really hope Kane can be back to 100% fitness ASAP. He is still struggling IMO, looks heavy with the ball and lumbering in movement.

Finally Wanyama please come back soon...

It's fine to have a settled starting eleven but always good to have different options. Chelsea had no cl last season. Real Madrid have some of the best and most consistent players in the world, we don't. You may think that 4 of Arsenals 7 attacking options aren't that good, I disagree and think they can all contribute. I'd take any one of them over Llorente, ok maybe not Walcott but only because I think he's a c*nt.

Maybe we're doing a Chelsea - finish outside the Europe places and then you have a clear shot at the title in the new stadium.

The present feeling in the senior squad is trickling down to our academy and youths as they have also been passing thru a very bad patch.
