Shows you how tight it is at the top. Yesterday we are a point of 2nd tomorrow will probably be 5th! Man U and Liverpool did their jobs today and Chelsea probably will tomorrow! Looks like it’s going to take major slip ups or a couple of big injuries to decide the 3 remaining places! Who has the better squad to be able to handle losses!

That's it. In fact, we've basically been better than Chelsea the entire time since they defeated us in August. Good thing there are a few matches left and one of them includes Chelsea. The top 4 race isn't done over a weekend. What we have shown over the last 3 games is that we have more in the tank than any of our rivals at a key stage of the season.
I trust us to drop less points over the remainder of the season than any of those around us so I'm sure we will be fine.

Not the point, I'm not saying it's easy. I'm saying it's in our own hands, which are two different things. One way to get top 4 is to trail Chelsea and then beat them. Just having it as an option is great (as opposed to beating them and still not overtake them on the table). Not sure that's a good thing. A game on the bridge is never easy, no matter how good we are, or how poor they are. We saw that two years ago.
This is key, and the FA Cup . I just went through and wrote out potential cup dates integrated into our league fixtures and it really makes things look different. All ifs and buts , of course, but - 2 eg's- if we get past Juventus we would play the QF 3 days after the Chelsea match . If we beat Rochdale, our league game against Newcastle is postponed as we will play an FA Cup Cup qf. Of course this applies to all our rivals so I am just pointing out that the picture could be very different after Juventus/Rochdale and the equivalent games for the other sides. Also we will have to see how we all go in the cl. I think united and pool will defo progress so they could be affected as i dont think there squads can cope.
It would be lovely if they sank like a stone and we could really focus on the cups for the rest of the season. Its Chelsea though, things are never that simple. The match tomorrow will tell us a lot. We'll take Chelsea over the next two games, after that they'll be in our rear view for the rest of the season.

Man United are the ones to target. They have a difficult run coming up
A lot easier without Zaha thoughPalace away is going to be such a tough game. They're desperate for points and they certainly won't make it easy.
When clubs are fighting to stay afloat, it makes fixtures so much tougher. United found that out today!
