Correct, but I don't think there's much chance of Liverpool finishing 5th.
We're far more likely to do that than they are!

You say that but it could happen especially as they have to go to Stamford Bridge and will likely have an eye on the CL final.

It could get tight for them but they have Brighton at home on the last day who are pretty much safe themselves and have nothing to play for, still would be great to see them squirm a little.

It's crucial that we win our next two games. Both are against teams we'd be expected to beat anyway, despite WBA's late fight back recently.

That would put us in a position of being 8 points above Chelsea and 2 points above Liverpool before the two have even played each other.

Yeah thats my thinking. Im not going to be all doom and pessimistic about it. Obviously if we lose both those games it will be terrible but until that happens Im not going to get my knickers in a twist!

If Salah does indeed get a ban (which sadly I don't think will happen) it would only give more motivation to Kane, he has a good scoring record against Watford, WBA and Leicester. Newcastle I'm not so sure about but it's a home game under lights against opposition that are already safe. 6 goals in 4 games would do the trick if Salah's PL campaign was done. I'd personally love to see Harry break the 30 barrier regardless of the golden boot.

I understand the pessimists are debating Liverpool chances to win the CL and the impact it may have on 4th place, but the Champion's League trophy has Real Madrid written all over it in my opinion. Ronaldo is going to have a field day against them - if they hold in Roma that is.

Considering the fact that even if Salah doesn't get banned, he's still only got two more PL games left including a game away to Chelsea, whereas Kane has 4 games left against Watford, WBA, Newcastle and Leicester...

I personally feel that Kane needs a couple tonight if he wants to catch Salah.

Suddenly going to WBA is on a par with going to the bernabeu in some people’s opinion ?

Not at all. They're just – rightly – pointing out that West Brom will still have the slimmest of slim chances at surviving, and have become an organised, effective team since ditching Pardew (surprise). It's not a gimme at all.

If we don't get CL football in the position we are currently in and the games left.....i would seriously be concerned on where this squad would go onwards.....it would be a royal fuck up.

But lets be positive .....we are going to get top 4 , and we're gonna win tonite.(y)
