Good luck Radek, would like him to stay as 2nd choice but I don't think it'll happen.

I agree 100% would like to see Radek stay as No2 as he has always been a reliable back up and despite his awful kicking the boys inparticular the defence seem to play alot more releaxed and better with Radek in goal, than the do if Robbo is between the sticks. In the ideal world we would get rid of Robbo to the highest bidder bring in a world class goal keeper and keep Radek as are dependable No2, but as Adam says above I don't see him staying which is a shame.

I was lucky enough to meet Radek at a dinner - Robbo was playing well at the time and Cerny was full of praise and extremely professional about his role, and the responsibility to keep fit and ready to step in whenever necessary. He has done that admirably and seemed to me to be an allround decent guy. Nothing he has done since has altered my view. Good luck Radek, wherever life takes you. Always welcome at WHL in my books.

His loan is up isn't it?

So he'll go back to Slavia and play there unless someone else comes for him.

Anyway, he's been loyal, never complained about spending so much time on the bench and got some thoroughly deserved chances this season. But it's all about performances and in the end he's not good enough to take us further.

Good luck, Radek! :adios:

Im sure we exstended the loan to the end of this season, the same time (i think) his contract at Slavia ends.

Anyway, good luck to who ever you move to

Aye. Hope he plays against Liverpool. Eventhough he has had very limited chances at the Lane, he's really proven himself to be a more than useful reserve keeper at times. Never bothered that he has had to play No. 2 to Robinson, I'm just glad he got his chance eventually. Good luck to him.

Did anyone else watch first choice on Sky Sports and listen to the way that Tony Gale was constantly having dig at Cerny from the first whistle, who in my opinion won us the match by having one of his best games for us?

I watched the match live and he was constantly having ago. I've never liked Tony Gale as a pundit, if it's not West Ham he's not interested.

Don't think Cerny is that great, and I don't really understand how everyone thinks he is better than Robbo. I'm not saying he's bad or that Robbo is that much better than him.

I think he is a decent back up, but his distribution isn't too great, and I've seen him make a fair few errors. The difference between him and Robbo as far as I'm concerned is his errors haven't cost us for the most part.

Aye, I noticed that. Even when Cerny was fouled he was getting a decent fist to the ball, and all Gale could say was "Well, he was lucky the referee blew his whistle that time..." and general shit like that. Fucking tosser.

yep bullet I noticed that - like many a west ham fan they like having a dig wherever possible at Spurs

incidentally wasn't it Tony Gale who predicted West Ham would qualify for the CL last season - think he got the table the wrong way round :)

re Cerny - I'd like to know how many goals he's conceded per game compared to Robbo this season - I bet it's quite a bit less

I prefer him overall to Robbo - but as we all know Cerny's going and surely Robbo will go too or at least be deposed as No. 1

Seems a fair chance he'll be QPR's no.1 next year.

Met him a year ago at Dover's ground. Seemed a really nice guy, and was much happier to interact with the fans that some of the others :)

Good luck Radek
