So it looks like the 'pool board did the sensible thing and ignored all those calling for his head last year, stuck with him and now they're going to put it on paper.

They'd be mental to get rid of him, he's a very good manager, even if he is dead boring and tactically Italian - he's magic :up:

i really really hate benitez every time he does a press conference i dislike him a bit more, and yes he is a very good manager with a good reputation from with and before liverpool but at liverpool he has been so luck having gerrard to bale him out of difficult situations time and time again which is ironic as he was the one who a few years back seemed desperate to want to get ri of him and nearly succeded.

They need to get rid of him now! The stats prove that no manager with a beard has ever won the top flight. Hicks needs to offer him a simple choice, either shave or you're sacked!

The NotW are reporting that Rafa will be gagged on talking about club policy if he signs a new deal. I think its the owners who should be gagged when they open their mouths, they just cause problems.
