I created a video montage last night. Hope you enjoy.

Apologies in advance, this won't play on mobile devices due to a copyright syndication with the music.

Don't mind admitting, it was quite emotional making this

EDIT:

I've just rendered a HD version guys, 720p quality (but you'll obviously have to change this yourself using the quality button at the bottom once you click play).

This one also includes a couple of addition commentary overlays. Other than that, it's the same clips.

A week on and I'm still gutted.

I just love watching him score vs Arsenal. His celebrations in front of their fans with his finger to his mouth. Priceless. He loved beating them. He was a big game player and scored some very important goals.

It's only just hitting me that he has gone. Best finisher we had, so many game winning finishes. I i know he wasnt fit, getting older, resale value and all that crap but we are a lot worse without him in our squad.

The man has passion for the game and for the teams he plays for. Do you think you would get the same reaction from any of the English lads of we dropped them from the Europa squad. I hope he comes back one day.

Loved his celebration too. It's like he was trying to do the finger to the mouth but couldn't quite control his emotions and was celebrating at the same time. Genius.

Loved the video. Loved the player.

I miss him. It hurts that he's gone to be honest. I'm trying to suck it up and move on, but it's not easy.

Great montage Scutch!.

It's hard seeing your (mine not yours) 7 year old son who has put VDV at the top of his hero list (above Ben 10, Optimus Prime and Scooby Doo). He has posters, photo's and shirts...and I tell him he's no longer at spurs...Not sure who was most upset last saturday morning.

Also I work closely with an office in Hamburg. The one thing we talk about thats not work was football and how good VDV is. Now I hate them all.

Oh and i truely believe we could have got even more out of him, had we built the team around him a bit more. seeing hm on the bench against the toon hurt. like with holland some managers underestimated how good he is.

In our games so far, I've missed him and thought a few times, "Rafa would have been there, he would have had that one." I honestly think our results could have been different with his contribution.

His absence is unbelievably noticeable.

I know we have to get over it, but it isn't proving to be easy.

What an amazing player, gave his all everygame. Just a shame he couldn't play a full 90 minutes otherwise I think he could of stayed a few more years.
