Incredible how low Vertonghen is rated. He is to the team as A&C is to the summer transfer rumour threads. So, I guess if you don't think A&C is important to transfer rumours then you are entitled to the delirious valuation of Vertonghen.

No it just means people feel there are other players who are in front of him who are more important.
Guessing that with Wimmer coming in and doing so well he's been pushed down the order as well.

It's about so much more than purely the value as a CB. Wimmer is a good CB. Vertonghen is a leader of men.

OK, you just made me show offy great understanding of how to use statistics.
During the last 6 matches before Vertonghen came back, we kept a clean shit, I mean sheet, in 16.67% of the matches. Which is crap for a team in the title race. We also won 1.83 PPG. After Vertonghen came back, we have 100% clean sheets and 3 PPG.

Okay that's great, we still won matches when Wimmer was in the team, I'm guessing that most people think that he's not as important as you do, no harm in that
