Lloris 6 - Nothing to do really

Naughton 6 - Pretty standard performance. Nothing outstanding and wasn't shit
Dawson 5 - Got caught out a couple of times
Vlad 6 - Nothing to do really, tried to get forward
Fryers 7 Thought he got forward better in the first half. Wasn't really tested either

Dembele 9 - Just edges MOTM just for the goal. Great performance
Paulinho 8.5 - Unreal today. I'm obviously not his biggest fan but credit where it's due. Sensational today before the injury, hopefully this is the Paulinho we brought and not the one before his suspension
Eriksen 6 - Poor delivery today, set pieces and crossing wasn't great. Out of position though
Lennon 7.5 - Put in some good pull backs for Ade and Soldado. Capped a decent performance with the goal

Soldado 7 - Good work off the ball and away from goal again but needs a goal from open play to get him firing.
Ade 7 - Again, good work off the ball and linking up play I though. Great to have him back

Capoue 6 - Not much to do, did his job
Lamela 6.5 - Some great moments. Loved that drop of the shoulder he did. Just hoping that big performance is just round the corner
Chadli 6 - Same as Capoue nothing to do really

Lloris - 6.5 - not much to do, miscalculated a long ball once

Naughton - 8 - very good opening play and some good passes, I am surprised. Lord thanks he wasn't tested in defense

Dawson - 7 - solid, but lucky not to give away a pen

Chiriches - 7.5 - better than last games

Fryers - 7 - solid starting debut , see Naughon re defense

Paulinho - 8.5 - immense performance by him. Quality flicks and balls in midfield, shame that he went off injured. And ffs he needs to find his shooting boots

Dembele - 8.5 - my MOTM, ran the show well and finally scored again in usual manner

Eriksen - 7 - some good movement and good ideas, his delivery/ free kicks were bad today

Lennon - 7.5 - decent, good goal

Adebayor - 8 - Such an important player for this system. In form a beast, should have scored though

Soldado - 7 - solid play but has to convert his chances from open play finally

Capoue - 6 - good job, not often seen

Lamela - 7 - tried well, needs a goal in that league

Lamela was the player I most enjoyed watching. And I thought he looked the best player on the pitch in those 20 minutes. As to who contributed most winning over the whole thing, can't be bothered decide too decisively, they were all much of a muchness. Soldado for penalty nerves which turned the match.

he's completely different from walker and doesn't get in lennon's space too much, what lennon seems to need alot of! well played vedran naughton.

Got to be Dembele for me. Most passes, 97% passing accuracy, got a goal. More importantly it was a solid team performance.

I thought Dembele bossed the game today and I would have given him MOTM even if he didn't scored. I'll give my ratings a bit later when I have time.

Would anyone else argue that Erikson was our poorest player? Not that he had a very bad game but his free kicks and corners, which are usually his hallmark, were found wanting plus he passed the ball quite often to the opposition, where we could have been punished by a better team. My onions.

I have now decided on Dembele although it was close with Paulhino and Ade

Thought everyone played well (even Naughton). Would have given MOTM to Paulhino, but as he went off early I had to give it to Adebayor for the 2 assists he got, strong hold up play and work rate. Just a shame him and Soldado didn't take those 2 simple chances in the 1st half.

Lloris - X - Nothing to do.

Naughton - 7.5 - Excellent, said for a while that he is more technically skilled and has a better footballing brain than Walker, played real well today and did good vs a tricky winger.
Dawson - 8 - Commanding, these are the games he relishes.
Chiriches - 7.5 - Did well and good distribution/carrying forward from the back. Handled Crouch easily.
Fryers - 7 - Solid display/debut, looked a bit nervous with some passes but overall very involved and did well.

Lennon - 6 - Good goal (albeit deflected) but was a real hindrance to our play the whole first half.
Paulinho - 9 - Unreal display.
Dembele - 8.5 - Dominant and a great goal.
Eriksen - 7 - All over the place, worked hard, linked up, etc, but not too much of an end product. Still a very good showing though.

Soldado - 7.5 - Sent in the cross that won the pen and was ice cold slotting it away. Worked very hard, all over the place winning balls and linking up with everyone.
Adebayor - 7.5 - Great performance, similar to Soldado rating.
Note: These two HAVE to start converting their chances though.

Capoue - 7 - Didn't have much to do but seemed to do a lot in cutting out the few attacks.
Chadli/Lamela - NET, game was more or less over and just an exhibition. Lamela looked to get on the ball more than Chadli, did well with it, but stupid yellow.
