Vertonghen, Dembele and Rose all excellent, with Vertonghen, I think, just edging it.

Special mention for Vic, though, for his one-man demolition job of Walcott in his first NLD.

I just love him. He's a fucking beast; you can almost see his will power jump out and throttle the opposition. Several times in the second half, Victor had possession but no one from Arsenal wanted to seriously tackle him. I thought Verts and Rose were excellent today and kudos to Poch for adapting his system to get the best out of his available players. This was without Toby, Lamela and Alli. Plus, Kane clearly wasn't match sharp, though the goal was a timely boost.

We should of won that game. We controlled large portions and Arsenal just played the counter... But we ain't clinical enough we ain't clinical enough we ain't clinical enough.

Well done to Pochettinho, he adjusted the system showing a willingness to adapt. We now have at least 4 different ways in which to play so for those that Claimed Pochettinho isn't tactically astute the proofs in the pudding.

Lloris 8

Walker 8

Dier 8.5 class

Wimmer 8 own goal shouldn't of stood.

Vertonghen 8

Rose 8.5 quality aggression

Wanyama 8

Dembele 8

Son 7.5 slightly frustrating

Kane 8 Good to see him back, just don't want to hear his tried, its just the way Harry breathes.

Eriksen 7.5 I don't know what has happened to Eriksen (gone backwards) needs to up it another gear should of scored.

All ok

I thought Eriksen was better because Dele wasn't playing today.
Quite possible. They tend to get in each others way too often, they want to play in the same area and, put simply, they can't.

Wanyama, as incredible as he is defensively, still frustrates me greatly with his lack of ambition and hesitation in moving the ball forward. The back pass to Lloris from their half while we were in the middle of an attack was infuriating. I hope in future he shows a bit more attacking prowess cause that's what would take him to the next level as a player imo

To be fair I've seen him initiate attacks plenty. Against Leicester he kept picking up the ball and either running forward with it or passing it forwards to one of the AMs rather than sideways to the FBs. I just think today he was trying to play it safe. With a back 3 behind he has to be even more careful, and perhaps his fuck up against Leverkusen played on him a bit.

He's not the player I worry about at the moment. Still lacking that something extra from the likes of Son and Eriksen. They're just not taking their chances right now. Dembele was solid enough and won that penalty nicely, but he takes way too many touches and kills momento too often. If he's going to take those touches he needs to do it in more advanced positions where he can win fouls. We've seen how good on the ball he is, and his run for the penalty today showed exactly why we need him driving forward at defenders, and not fannying about in the middle of the pitch.

If we had liverpools front 5 and our back four including wanyama then that team would win the league imo.

The transformation in Danny Rose has been nothing short of amazing. Has now turned into one of the best left backs in world football. Outstanding today.

Back 5 were pretty solid today, 7s to 8s.

Wany was good but seemed to leave the centre a little open, 7.

Janssen ok, but needs to press better. Something doesn't come off, switch back on and hunt the ball back. Sonny the same - saw a couple of incidents where he bottled a challenge, including the Cech one. 5s for more effort from vinny, more fight from son.

Thank you Mousa for showing some directness and drive towards goal to earn a penalty - want to see this more from all attackers, including Dembele.

Surprised at the ratings for Kane. I thought he was comfortably our worst player, which isn't surprising given he's been out for 2 months and is probably at 60%.

Dembele and Rose were immense.

I thought Kane did a great job for the team today. Would have been a different game had VJ started

Looked much fresher and more like the 'old' HK

Yes he scored an own goal today, but Wimmer is a much better defender than Dier.

Dier is a DM now, in my opinion, he makes far too many errors at the back.

Wimmer. Did nothing wrong including the OG which he could do nothing about. Made us look very solid at the back and allowed Vertonghen a bit of freedom which he used very well, but my main reason for giving it to him is that Yankspur, in his wisdom, gave him 3.

Been a big critic of Eriksen of late but he was excellent today.

Dembele was excellent for 1/2 the game and average for the other half.

Rose and Verts also very good.
