Both good shouts. Romero I thought was our best player and left one on a few of them.

Wouldn’t have been remotely surprised by that scoreline beforehand. Frustrating though because we had every chance at half-time. Let down by Hugo fumble, silly Emerson tackle & ref over-reaction.

I didn’t have a problem with Conte taking Son & Richy off. We were never getting back into this when 3.1 down and with 10 men. Lots of other fish to fry this month.

None deserved. Bentancur best of a bad lot, but even he was caught too deep in the box to properly challenge Partey’s strike.

What Emerson did was stupid, but in my view it was a clear yellow. Just didn’t see the red at all. 11 v 11 and down 2-1, we have a chance. Down to 10 we have much less; it’s a refereeing error for me. He was fine the rest of the game, for the life of me still don’t see how it’s a red.

Studs up, down the side of his leg/ankle. He is asking the referee to make a decision there, personally feel he made the right one. In any case, it is all on Emerson. Stupid tackle for nothing...

Harry is mostly a goal hanger these days, occasionally he drops deep and does a nice pass but his work ethic is not as good as Richarlison and Son so it made sense to sub those 2 to preserve them for Champions league as the game was done whem emerson went off.

I don't think playing 3 forwards is negative
I think it's naive.

For as good as Bentancur was his partner in Hojbjerg was dreadful. They cannot cope in a 2 v 3 battle. It’s either time for Bissouma and Bentancur or we switch to a 3 man central midfield.
