It was all about team spirit today and I enjoyed the final minutes by the corner flag. This they decided to do themselves which shows players are coming together.
Overall great team energy and a will to get the job done. Skipp for me was excellent, he set the standard in the first half with his tackles. We didn't miss Alli and Kane is lucky to be playing, he's lathargic and slows the play. He needs to get better and quickly. Great performance , great result.

I'm giving myself Man of the Match for the simple reason that every time I watch, we are shite, and every time I don't watch we do pretty well.

Son was excellent today. Motm. If we had lost our 3 games playing like this Nuno would have been under a lot less pressure as we could see the way out of the bad spell

First half I thought we were going to struggle but all of a sudden we just started to play on the front foot a bit more and looked a lot more like Tottenham. Second half I thought it was mostly us looking dangerous, which was beautiful to see

I thought NDombele played really well. He was pressing the back line, he was looking for and carrying the ball, and looked like he wanted to win.

I thought the team trying to play more through Lucas and Son was so much better and as Kane started staying more up top we looked a lot better.

Royal and Reggie looked better. That's the difference playing on the front foot makes.

The ending at the corner was entertaining!

Was still average to mediocre display for majority of the game, the difference today was Son's world class performance that got us over the line.

The portuguese fraud very fortunate the game was won by an individual brilliance

Son my MOTM. When he plays like this he is our best player IMO.

I was also pleased by Emmerson as I was wondering if we had cocked up by getting him instead of Tomiyasu. I am more confident now that with Tanganga, we have the RB position sorted.

Romero looks as Rolls Roycish as Ledley in his prime. Good acquisition

Although Kane didnt score, he played his part by pulling the defenders all over the place with good positioning.

Although it was not one of his better games, Ndombele still ensured that we attacked instead of being negative and defensive

And our engine Room Skipp and Hojbjerg did their job protecting our defence.

All in all it was a good day at the office against a very in form Villa side.

Son was son and deservedly motm, but I thought Emerson was superb. A lot better than Doherty has ever been for us and possibly better than serge managed in spurs shirt as well. Very impressed.

Good attitude after the first 15 minutes and we were actually quite entertaining at times.

Perhaps there is hope after all?

Son played really well, Emerson looked solid and thought that Skipp/PEH done well tracking through the midfield.

Had to go with Romero, what a difference he made back there. Won so many aerial duels, and his front foot defending was great to watch. Think his influence on the game, and the amount of attacks he snuffed out was brilliant.

Son MOTM, and a few stood out as well (Skipp, Hojbjerg, Emerson and Romero for most of the game) but it was also a better performance from the team.

I thought everyone played well

Son MOTM by a distance.

As mentioned Emerson, Romero and Hojbjerg were also really good.

Disappointed with Ndombele again. He had a fantastic moment when he wriggled his way in to their box and got a shot away, but apart from that he just seemed to kill a number of our attacks. We were much better when Lo Celso came on IMO.

A million times better than previous performances.

I thought Kane staying further up field made it easier for us to build up attacks as his movement kept their back three deeper and opened spaces for Son, Moura and NDombele to break into. He also could easily had a hat trick. By far his best performance for quite a while.

Some great performances. Emerson was immense at RB both defensively and going forward. Romero was very assured although thought he had no need to come so far out to tackle in the lead up to their goal. He and Dier have the making of a solid partnership. Skipp and Hojbjerg w

Thought NDombele was not involved enough and I would have substituted him much earlier for Lo Celso.

Son was easily MOM profiting well from the space Kane was opening up with his movement.

Good to see us win with goals from other than Kane and Son. In truth we could have had a lot more goals.

A good team performance with Son the clear standout. We looked better defensively with the exception of Romero and Dier’s part in their goal. Much improved performances by both Reguilon and Emerson in particular. Son was fantastic, Kane was improved but still work to do and Moura ran himself into the ground.

For me there were only 2 let downs, one was our finishing (should have had another 3 in the 2nd half) and Ndombele produced another mixed bag of both good and poor moments.

Agree with the majority of comments here....

Son was great, especially in possession, quality close control and very rarely gave the ball away. Mom

Romero and dier were both very good apart from the goal, where both could have perhaps done better.

The full backs great too, both of them much improved.

Skipp and Kane (unlucky) both were good.

Ndombele showed bits and pieces but still a massive upgrade on Dele.

Lo Celso came on and impressed but should have scored.

This is the first 11 now with Gil and lo Celso coming in for Lucas and ndombele if they don't perform.
