I know that most of us would rather we didn't have Sissoko and that we could do much better. The thing is we do have him, so he is one of ours. Supporting would be good instead of all that shite that was leveled against him in the match day thread. For the record I thought he had a very decent game and it was a pity he had those two attempts saved (No he didnt miss as most implied) but he culminated a good performance by the assist for Kane's second goal.

Good win for us as we have gained on the top teams and even going above both Burnley (a six pointer) and Arsenal in the process

Both Dele and Eriksen had better games than recent, but not quite at their best yet

Son blows hot and cold, match after match

Harry Kane my MOTM

Kane, Dele and Sanchez all excellent today, nobody really had a poor performance either which is a change from the last few games. Great time to start hitting form.

I anticipate that most people will say Kane was MOTM, but I thought Sanchez was fucking brilliant today. He was imperious despite not having played for 3 matches, and even better that he performed this well against an (effective) hoof-ball team.

I agree I had him as MOTM.

Thought most played well today and we really could have been walking away with a 6 or 7 nil win there! I want to mention one person and that is Sissoko, I thought he was very good today and did exactly what Poch would have asked of him.

Hugo - Pope's distribution makes his kickings look like Ederson today

Aurier - Very good except that error. He should start every matches against stronger teams

Vert/Sanchez - Excellent, vert slightly better

BD - His crossing is the worst I have ever seen since Rose's last match

Dier - he should be a CDM.

Sissoko - Okay where are the haters? Listen, he is not very talented. But I really can't hate him because of his efforts. Of course he did have many "sissoko moments" today, but he is really, really good today. Indeed, I don't think he makes a lot of defensive errors as a CM.

Dele - significant improvement. He is a really good player if he does not make the meaningless flicks

Eriksen - Good game.

Son - Good 1st. His miss was far worse than sissoko's one

Kane - Scored 3 goals. And the most impressing part of his performance were not the goals. But the build-up plays and long passes.

Kane obviously gets most peoples man of tge match, a hattrick and played well but for me Sanchez was sensational. We paid a lot for him and every penny was well spent.
He will also get better in my opinion. Alderweireld is as good as anyone in the league but Sanchez has all the attributes to be our best defender since Ledley.

Kane in beast mode. Dier great back in midfield. Dele got his swagger back. Sanchez oozing class. All good.

Great win that hopefully can start a winning streak for us! We created so many chances and missed like 3 sitters. Sissoko 1v1, Son miss of the year and Kanes awful pass to a completely open Eriksen. Not only that but we also had a lot of smaller chances that could easily have gone in on another day. A good opponent away and we smashed them.

Hugo 7: not much to do, but did what he should. His distribution is still awful though.

Sanchez 8: he was a beast defending. Still a few lapses and a few times where he lost the ball in a bad position. Great to have him back.

Jan 9: stopped everything thrown at him and didn’t give the ball away. Pretty much a perfect game.

Davies 7: Had an awful first half. Seemed to have forgotten how to cross the ball. Stepped up in the second half and looked way more calm with the ball.

Aurier 7: also not the best first half, but looked really great in the second half. He is a wildcard, dude is either a genius or a complete head case. Some of his runs in the second half where perfect, but he also makes at least one or two big mistakes. I think we need to stick with him and make him first choice over Trippier. Maybe rotating the wingbacks isn’t suited for someone like Aurier. Think he needs to have a run of games without getting benched.

Dier 6: a bit invisible. Much better in DM and did his job cleaning up when we lost the ball. He can clearly not dictate our game and especially not alongside Sissoko. Lets hope he is not injured.

Sissoko 7: That assist saved his day because holy fuck is his passing shite. Also missed a sitter, but was more involved than usually. I’m still not sure if he is a footballer. He have the ability to fuck up the most simple passes. But he did get that assist though.

Eriksen 8: He looked back in top form. His passes was on point and could and should have had an assist or a goal if his teammates had been a bit better. Played Dele in for the penalty and was involved in the two sitters we missed. Another day and Kane would have passed it to him for a goal. We definitely looked better when he took over from Dier and Sissoko in dictating our play. We always look better when Eriksen has a good passing game like today.

Dele 8: great first half. Forced the penalty and got the assist in the second half. I thought he made all the right decisions in the first half and looked too class. Unfortunately he made a lot of wrong decisions in the second half where he tries doing too much fancy stuff. Decision making is a part of his game he can improve. He is one of the best in the league when he plays like he did in the first half.

Son 6: it wasn’t Sons day. I think his big miss got to him, because he wasn’t the same after it. Looked lively before it, but out of it after it. Kinda forgot he was still on in the second half.

Kane 10: A hattrick and a close to perfect game. Dominated the Burnley defense and took his chances. Also fought really hard. Pretty much created his last goal by winning the ball back. He is just an allround beast. Best striker in the world for me. So afraid that Madrid will go in for him. Love him more than i loved Bale. Not much else to say other than he was clearly MotM.

Subs. Not really much to say. Dembele looked ok, Llorente looked good and Lamela looked not so good/rusty.

Lets hope we can start a good christmas winning streak!

Kane was back to Liverpool level. I think he’s been carrying a knock or nursing hamstring. But looked on another level today. Sanchez pure class.

Gave it to Kane (cos he made me £96!!) but I thought Sissoko, Sanchez, Dier and Dele all had great matches too.. no one really had a bad game though, well done.

I have to disagree with some. I thought Eriksen was awful today. Should have been subbed before our second goal imo

Very good game for Harry, Dele and Sanchez

I really should have voted Kane as three goals says it all. But I went for Dele as his influence got us abaead in the game early and that I believed allowed us to play as we increasingly did. Good performance against a tough side and especially I loved how many clear chances we created

Not bad that Kane bloke

Great to have Sanchez back. What a signing

Would have loved to have come in here and read everyone’s ratings etc if that had ended 1-1 (which was looking more and more likely the more chances we missed)

What a difference a goal or 2 makes!

Top performance today. Controlled the entire game and that was without our 3 best central midfield players
