I want to slap Adebayor and ask him why the fuck he doesn't play like that every game? He wasn't perfect but the difference between today and the rest of the season is too big to justify.

Lloris -6 could have done better with both goals...maybe. but made some decent saves

Walker -7 thought he was good, will gave us some attacking threat down the right, helped bring about the equalizer

Dawson -5 poor to be honest, had one of those clumsy dawson days. And kinda got dominated

Caulker -5 as above, torn to bits at times

Vertonghen- 6 not great defending LB, but was good going forward

Holtby - 7 was very good i thought, good passing and energy

Parker -7 typical scott parker display, lots of energy and always running and trying to drive the team. Lacks passing quality

Dembele -8 was awfully good, mustve knackered himself out as to sub him was strange

Siggurdson -8 Another goal, and he keeps improving. Finally starting to look like a real player

Dempsey -0 RIP (i cant be arsed to critique him anymore)

Adebayor- 9 MOM- that was last years Ade! the one we were desperate to sign. Outstanding

subs

Huddlestone 7- looked alright, good passing. But had tons of time and space to do what he wanted.

So from what I've seen:

Lloris - 6
Quick of the line, maybe could do more at first goal.

VErtonghen - 5.5
Had better games, good in possession, sometimes very shakey at the back. Involved in both goals against us

Dawson - 6
Not sure if good enough. Sometimes good clearances, sometimes too easy to beat

Walker - 5
A stupid man. Tried hard, but can't see these stupid fouls anymore. All about pace.

Caulker - 6
Pretty anonymous, difficult for me to rate him

Parker - 5.5
Tries and runs, but offers nothing in going forward.

Dembele - 7
Thought he did okay. Unlucky when his shot deflected to the crossbar. Could do with a break, but with our injury problems we can't afford that.

Sigurdsson - 7
Scored the equalizer and tried. He is improving. Unfortunately too slow

Dempsey - 4
Not available on the pitch. Some shots into row z that was it. Wished that AVB bring Ceballos on for him.

Adebayor - 8
Moved well, was very lively. But first touch often not good enough and sometimes I think he could have made better decisions. . But he is improving, at least . MOTM

Holtby - 6.5
He has to improve. Shame he can not make a big difference yet. Needs time.

Huddlestone - 7
Good long balls and tried to make some forward passes. Still lacks of pace and not very useful without the ball.

Carroll - NA

Lloris 7 - Maybe could have done better on the first goal but a good overall performance

Vertonghen 6 - Improved on the Basel match
Dawson 6 - A couple of sloppy passes but a good performance
Caulker 6
Walker 7.5 - Very impressive today

Dembele 7 - I was surprised that he was substituted
Parker 6

Holtby 8 - Very good first 90 minutes (I think)
Dempsey 3 - I've given him the benefit of the doubt for too long
Sigurdsson 8 - Impressive

Adebayor 8 - Early goal and had a lot of nice touches, unlucky not to get the second (MoM)

Huddlestone 6 - Did what he had to do with minimal fuss

Lloris -6 - Felt he wasn't his usual self - Poor distribution and could of done better for goals; still an important save.

Walker -7 - Faded a bit in second half (minus the build up play for goal) but very impressive first half.

Dawson -5 - Aka Anchibe's bitch. Games like this reminds me why we wanted to offload him. Clumsy and lacked composure

Caulker -5 - I don't feel he will make it with us as a first choice center back, lacks composure and 1v1 is terrible.

Vertonghen- 6 - Good going forward but defensively doesn't work on the left. What are we going to do for rest of season about that position...

Holtby - 6.5 - Energetic and some nice touches 2nd half... Really want him to succeed but struggling to see where he's going to fit in atm.

Parker -7 - Really impressed me today and I'm normally a massively critical of him. Still prefer Sandro but showed signs of why he won all his adulation last season.

Dembele -8.5 - Majestic is the word. Loved he took more shots today and just absolutely bullied Everton's beyond average midfield. Was a cut above most and was embarrassed for him. AVB needs to explain why he went off

Siggurdson -8 - Wanted him to succeed so bad. Makes up for his lack of pace with guile and puts in such a shift. Would love him to be one of the forward men in a 4-3-3

Dempsey - 3 (wanted to give a 0 or 1 but thats a bit harsh...maybe) Offers nothing. Whereas Gylfi lacks pace, he makes up for in effort, guile and goals. I wanted Dempsey to succeed but I can't fathom how he got so many goals for Fulham. He has a lazy attitude, takes wild 30 yard shots. Waste of time. Offload him for 5million + to the MLS please.

Adebayor- 8.5 MOM- Adebayor of old. Lovely link up play, work rate, gave us a fulcrum. However, he would of looked so much better if he had a goalscoring number 10 behind him. (Not his fault though)

subs

Huddlestone 6- Looked okay sprayed some nice passes but only works in certain games a la cameo's against teams defending a lead. Got caught once or twice. Used to be a nice player but we've outgrown him.

Carroll - 6 - Showed glimpses of a bright future, got caught once though and begs the question whether he could play next to only Dembele/Parker in the holding 2. Would like to see him in a midfield 3 for a full 90 and see what his resolve is like.

AVB - 5 - Had to work with what he has. However, hate his ability to be more proactive with subs... 70 mins + to make one? What's point of leaving Dempsey on for 90 mins but a promising young forward scoring for fun in U21's is just left on the bench.

Crowd - 2 - Start singing loads when we go 2-1 down, where was the 12th man trying to push for the 2-1 lead instead? Fickle. The booing is never on (Dembele off > Thudd on) Made it seem like Thudd was being incorporated in the boos.

Walker was better today but still has the stupid slip up moments of brainlessness. If Everton had scored from that free kick he gave away at the end then people would have been slating him. That does make it hard for me to give him a better rating even though he probably deserves it for improved work in attack.

Carroll I gave a 7 because I like how he always is looking for the ball unlike other players of ours who hide from it. He creates passing tempo which none of our other players can do. I just wish AVB would play him in games instead of the useless ones who keep getting undeserved starts.

Lloris - 6 - Should of done better for the goals but saved us in the end

Walker - 7 - Did well going forward

Dawson - 5 - Poor at times

Caulker - 5 - as above but teammates should no he isnt agile so him against Mirallas, was always going to be one winner

Vertonghen- 6 - same as above not great defending Mirallas but was one of our better players going forward

Holtby - 6.5 - Reminds of VDV great for first 60mins then energy levels slowly go down

Parker - 5 - Did everything well in the first half tbh, second half it was a typical parker display(this season) he did everything right except have the ability to do a decent pass other than to CB's and got attracted to the ball to much leaving loads of space in behind him.

Dembele - 8 - Was our biggest threat imo, shocked he went off as he was linking up better than the other 2 CM's

Siggurdson - 7.5 - Good and did well with his goal

Dempsey - 0 - AVB must be shagging his GF or Wife as I am shocked he made 90 mins

Adebayor- 9 MOM- he was doing it by himself, he had no support and I don't think I have ever seen a player trying to take on the whole team by himself so much before. Its amazing how many players he beat and he also did a great Crouch impression(bambi on Ice)

subs

Huddlestone - 7 - I was pissed he came on but he did well

Carroll - 7 - in the time he came on we started to look more dangerous as well

AVB - poor - at 60mins our players looked miffed and had no idea what to do other than shoot outside the box or watch ade instead of providing support. Should of made a sub at 60 mins, Carroll and Cebellos should of come earlier. Dempsey was going to come off for BAE which is worry because he was shit on the wing last time. AVB needs to trust the U21's more or tell Levy he doesnt trust them and get new players in

our defence really was not up to scratch today. anichebe just proved to be too much for them to deal with. really hope eunice comes back soon. holtby siggy dembele and ade really put in a shift today with holtby linking well with siggy and ade. dembele was good although i would like him to really work more on shooting and thinking two steps ahead of the game. having said that he did a decent job of trying to draw out the opposition. dempsey was more or less anonymous but for a player as limited as he is i can't really say too much about that. the best thing he did was dummying that shot to allow ade to shoot/set up gylfi. parker showed his usual grit and kept the pirouettes to a minimum today. i thought he should have done better with the chance he had but did a good job of cleaning up. huddlestone calmed things down when he came on and as always the balls he provided were spot on. carroll did well in the short time he was on giving us another creative avenue of attack. most of all i'm happiest for adebayor. scored against basel and scored against everton today. that's bound to do good for his confidence. also the partnership he's developing with siggy could be crucial in the run in. slightly gutted that we didn't win but everton are always a thorn in our side. on to the next one. Why does AVB even bother putting youth players on the bench since 99% of the time he opts not to use them?

Lloris 6 - Got himself into no mans land for the corner. Good save at 2-2

Walker 5 - Got forward well, but only put in one decent cross the whole time. Tried the same "trick" over and over again instead of putting the ball into the box when he had the space. Also has an annoying habit of pushing or shouldering people into the back when they are going nowhere.
Dawson 4 - Bullied all day by Anichebe. It was like a man against a boy.
Caulker 5 - Ditto, but not as much. He body shape(s) for their second was terrible.
Vertonghen 5 - Out of position most of the game. A great cross for Adebayor's goal lifts his mark a bit.

Parker 6 - Average performance. Did nothing outstanding and nothing terrible.
Dembele 7 - Pretty good. Would have prefered him to be pushed further forward as he might have done better with the shooting chances that Dempsey had.

Dempsey 5 - Bleurgh.
Holtby 7 - Himself and Siggy linked up well. End product wasn't great though.
Siggy 7 - As above. Is a bit too hit and miss in possession and often loses trying to take someone on when he rarely succeeds. Extra mark for the goal.

Adebayor 8 - He touch was still a bit off today, but still a very good all round performance. Hopefully we'll see more of the same the rest of the season.

AVB 6 - Limited with what we could do today for obvious reasons. We were pretty good going forward, at with the injuries he deserves come praise for that. But not playing BAE at left back was a mistake because we weakened two positions. As mentioned above, I thought he should have taken off Dempsey and moved Dembele further forward. We've also conceded from corners in three games in a row now, all goals that would have been stopped if someone was on the post.
