Friedel - 4 - This routine picking of Friedel over Hugo for Europe costs us goals. The back 4 dont know whetehr they're coming or going because Fatty Arbuckle isnt allowed off his line. The second was purely him not coming out, look how far the ball travelled. Could have done better with the 4th. Never saves anything other than routine, distribution is rubbish and he moves like a geriatric.

Naughton - 5 - poor.

Walker - 5 - stupid Walker error (needless shove) costs goal. Cut and paste for the Fulham game.

Verts - 5 - Got sucked in for the 4th.

Gallas - 2 - Horrendous performance. Shouldnt be captain.

Ploddermore - 3 - Did nothing.

Dembele - 7 - Worked his socks off. Returning to his early season self. Soldiered on with a head wound.

Parker - 4 - Worked hard but was utter gash. Think he forgot who was on our team at times. No idea why he plays further advanced than Dembele. Lots of spinning very little playmaking.

Sig - 4 - Nothing. Lacks pace.

Defoe - 2 - Embarrassing.

Adebayor - 6 - Fuck the haters. He worked hard today, lots of things arent working for him but he kept plugging away. Needed a scrappy goal.

Holtby - 3 - really poor. Looked slow and tired quickly.

Caulker - 4 - Net.

Lennon - 3 - Offered nothing and didnt even work hard.



Hard to be too happy about going through. Losing a game 4-1 to a team as average as inter is embarrassing under any circumstance. They are a ropey team and we made them look good.

Boy do we rely on Bale.

No more Defoe for the rest of the season i hope. Unless its as a sub.


AVB - 2 - Awful decision to start two strikers away from home. especially when those two strikers are so, so, so out of form.

Looks as unfit as any prem player I've seen. Isn't German football supposed to be quite similar to Prem in physicality?
I like what he does with the ball but something's not right with his fitness levels.

Friedel 5 - Apart from a great save at the end from Cassano's shot he was woeful, rooted to his line.
Walker 5 - Poor yet again, gifted them the 3rd goal for a ridiculously stupid foul.
Gallas 5 - Playing offside trap when you're that sluggish is a crime.
Vertoghen 6 - Played well enough, one of the better players on the night.
Naughton 5 - Constantly beaten on that side and looked out of his depth.
Parker 5 - Nowhere near the player of last season, just runs around aimlessly and can't pass to save his life.
Livermore 5 - Not as bad as some have said (people go over the top), but didn't do anything good though. Not cut out for this level.
Siggurdson 6 - Thought he had a good first half and faded out as the game went on. Worked hard though.
Dembele 7 - MotM. Worked hard and pretty much the only player with any drive.
Ade 4 - Worked harder than Defoe but that really isn't much of a compliment.
Defoe 3 - Useless, pure and simple.

Holtby 5 - Really struggled when he came on, couldn't get into the game at all.
Lennon 5.5 - Same as Holtby really, just marginally better.
Caulker 5 - Looked really shaky when he came on.

AVB 5 - Poor tactics and starting lineup. Should've started with Holtby and Lennon instead of playing Dembele on the right. The guy is a beast in the middle ffs, why play him on the wing? Defoe and Ade together just doesn't work, it's like having 10 men on the pitch.

We were lucky to go through tonight, it really was a shit scoreline. I hope it's a real eye-opener for the team and I hope so much that they're not fucked for Fulham.
