It seems to me Paulinho's problem is he doesnt like the physicality of the English game. He avoids contact. I have been one of his defenders but is he doesnt toughen up he should play somewhere else.

and Verts
Yup, they'll both be off. Verts hasn't looked happy or enjoying his football for a long time now and doesn't hide it, really. He only seems half happy when he's got Kaboul next to him...and I don't blame him (though he did have a stinker today).

Hugo will be gone at the speed of light once the season is up.

Rose is killing me, I can't handle watching him go so far up the pitch and then when we lose the ball and they attack on his side, he is jogging back, not even trying to bust a fucking gut to try and defend and help out

Agreed, when you are a bang average player lucky enough to be making a great living at a top 6 side the minimum I expect is 100% effort. He's climbing my most disliked all time players list at an alarming rate. I've said it before but the decision to go a whole season with him as our only left back is simply shocking and amateur in the extreme.

You can tell he is frustrated that no ones making any runs and can't really pass it forward into any space

Agreed, if I remember correctly Hugo was uncertain over joining in the first place so will definitely be off given half the chance. A real shame but in theory will be easier to replace than bale, Modric etc. Liverpool have coped just fine replacing reina with a cheaper option.

Jan is more of a worry as I've never seen a player so keen to join us yet he's gone from the best defender in the league to the moody sluggish version we're getting at the moment. As well as the dross on the pitch, I think he's unhappy with a lot of off the pitch stuff as well. I think we're in a bit of a mess to be honest.

I thought Chadli played quite well, it's all relative I guess as everyone else was pony

Lloris 7 - kept us in it, says it all

Naughton 5.5. - thought he played Redmond quite well, but clueless going forward

Dawson 3 - painful. Bonus point for providing someone the ammo for the Leeroy Dawson comment

Vertonghen 5 - looks fed up, playing between wingus and dingus will do that to you

Rose 4 - out of his depth. Against Norwich

Dembele 6 - kept trying at least, ref had it in for him and his strength. Needs to do more around the box when he gets there

Paulinho 3.5 - strut around like the girl from ipanema, about as effective

Bentaleb 4 - better than Paulinho at least...

Lennon 5.5 - says it all that he was improved yet still gets a 5.5

Chadli 7 - looked most likely to break through, some good crosses and movement. Probably should have scored though

Ade 4 - bullied, Yobo and Bassong held him up by his ankles and shook his lunch money out

Soldado 6 - looked bright, but for the love of god score, you are breaking my heart

Townsend 5 - ran abaht a bit, down blind alleys mainly

I really don't know where to start.

I have spent 4 hours this week watching that pile of shite, time that I will never get back....in fact I would suggest that smoking 40 cigarettes a day is far,far better for your health than watching Spurs trying to play football.
Half these clowns can't pass a ball to save their fucking lives!
No heart,no guts,no drive,no endeavour, no skill and not a fucking clue between them.
I was willing to give Tim a try but if Rafa VDV reckons Van Gaal is the man to turn us around....then thats good enough for me.

Not sure if it was Paulinho or Pauline Calf wearing the number 8 shirt today... His passport my say he's Brazilian but there's F**k all else that associates him to being a Brazilian....
He's another one that doesn't look like he's enjoying himself at all.

Too many prosaic performances from him this season.

Anybody else think City will push hard for Vertonghen this summer....
If I was City, I'd be looking at Lloris too although it would appear Valdes is their main target.

Vertonghen just seems a perfect fit unfortunately - bet we can do is rinse them for as much as we can because I sincerely doubt we won't succumb to their advances.

You can pretty much guarantee that he's pissed off that we're losing and his mate is get splinters from the bence when we're crying out for some creativity and intelligence. He's probably embarrassed that he persuaded Eriksen to come and join such stupid club.

Lloris is the only one who deserves credit.the people who voted for Naughton must be taking the piss.
