Another 3 points gained from another unconvincing performance. Sanchez my MOTM, although Kane and Bentancur are my strong contenders

Sanchez probably MOM. Kane obviously crucial. Richy is a prize A ***, but he’s our prize A **** and that assist was classy.

I thought Hojbjerg was good too, but I often think that and everyone tells me he was shite so maybe I’m wrong again.

Kane for me because of the goals, but I thought Kulu really put in a shift and was our best attacking threat. Sanchez and Emerson defended well but were shaky on the ball.

Kulusevski without a doubt, the only one who looked like last season going forward. Kane, not on top of his game but still two goals, bloody enigma. Son needs a little break, Richie did more in his little cameo than Son all game.

Well, this is the system. Soak up pressure, no real chances for rhe opposition, catch on the break or find space to attack. It's completely different to the high intensity of the press or ticky tacka. Would like to see the passing more refined, as can still be sloppy and wasteful. But overall, I thought forest huffed and puffed, fouled across the pitch (was it 6 yellows?) And I thought, despite richi taking the absolute piss, it was a red for the follow up tackle but offered no real threat.

Sanchez was great today. Some criticism in the thread for his poor clearances, but I thought he was very commanding.

Son was better but will be looking over his shoulder now, at richi. Rightly so.

Sanchez was brilliant

Kane - should have filled his boots but for an August, this is a damn good start for him...

Kulusevski - always positive, im always anticipating something will happen with him when he gets the ball, and could have had one or two more

I thought PEH was good if not spectacular

Son is getting there, not superb but he is gettign chances and i think he is too eager to score at the moment.

As for the rest, they defended resolutely although didnt think Perisic and Bentancur did all that great but that was a fast paced open game

Sanchez was very good. Hojbjerg was sloppy at times but was relentless with his work rate.

Kane and Kulusevski were very good. Son in a dip, Richarlison deserves his shot.

10 points out of 12 with loads of improvement to come. Promising.

With a bit more luck, Kulu could have had a hat trick- the defenders just managed to get a block in every time.

For me it’s Højbjerg and not really that close, but I can see how varied the opinions will be and rightly so. Deki assist and best forward. Kane 2 goals. Sanchez solid. Bentancur everywhere. Perišić classy. Richy a difference maker again.

Sanchez great. Forest had no one who can shoot so we escaped again being totally outplayed. We need to improve quickly or someone will stuff us

Hojbjerg for me. Immense defensively and is starting to join more and more attacks.

Goals win games, Kane got two MOTM for me
Sanchez much improved, but passing very poor in first half means he loses our for me.
