Richy motm. He deserved it. With his off the pitch issues, to still have the hunger and deliver under even more pressure, that is class. Its his fight that makes this work.

Need to go back to son, richy, kulu.

It was a strange game. I really didn't think there was any chance of losing up until their goal, but I felt our best chances just weren't falling to Son.

Glad we won it the way we did. Fcuking time wasting fcukers! Hope they go down for that.

Overall I think we were quite poor today, we seemed slow and a little flat. The gooners and pool won't sit back and time waste but we'll have to be much better to get something in the next 2 games

The great thing about today was that we were not particularly great. But we were still pretty great and it was still a great watch.

Know what I mean? Great.

"Poor" is a real stretch. We labored to breakdown a low-block - and we won't be the only team to struggle with that task this season. But, for the most part - we were just a tiny bit off. You can't point to anyone who had an individually poor game - we just could not unlock the defense.

For the first time this season I voted for teamwork. Everyone put in a decent shift and it was difficult for me to separate out any one individual.

The gorgeously succulent irony of the way the game ended was simply delicious.

No clear motm for me, outside BIssouma. But the whole team put in a fantastic effort. Maddison was superb. And, like everyone with a heart, was delighted for Richy.

Referee and officiating in general was poor today. Sadly. I grow increasingly unsure of the point of var. See Maddison pen. Although I think the way Maddison went down like he was shot probably made put the ref off. Although that shouldn't matter.

Against a side that will only survive by camping around their penalty areas, it was a great test.

Spurs played really well I thought. Still shows a lack of speed of play in attacking build up though, see Kulu's goal for the difference a quick build up makes.

Oh, and if you happen to know the absolute cock womble who threw a second ball on the pitch, when spurs were in the ascendency that gave Shu a leg up. Bang the prick out please and lost photos.

That's fair. Maybe poor was a little strong

I gave it to Bissouma. He never gave up even when there was 5 minutes to go. Kept trying to get the ball forwards and moving quickly. All match consistently good

Richy stole the show but I'll give it to Bissy

Bissouma.

End of conversation.

A peep for Perisic. Oil in our grinding gears. Class is permanent and all that.
