I disagree. I thought we weren't at our best but still easily good enough to have rolled over a very poor SU side.

Son didn't have a great game, but he wasn't terrible, just not at his best. Apart from that I look around and thought Romero, the GK, Maddison, MVDV, Pape, Kulu, Udogie all looked excellent. Soloman had the FB on toast, could go past him at will. And as for Bissouma...

Eh??? We completely dominated them pretty much the entire match, we're not going to score 5 every game, especially against teams parking the bus with 5 at the back.

After the bad week, or even month, he had to come on as a substitute and score the equalizer and coolly assist the winner in the dying minutes the MOM award has to go to Richarlison. Hopefully that gets the monkey off his back and he can play more relaxed going forward.

Not many people talking about Sarr. He was quietly immense throughout the whole time he was on the pitch. I was a tad disappointed he was subbed.

Great match ...lots of good football from Spurs...and we won, but truth to tell it was a very close run thing. Yes we dominated and had chances, but they weren't quite 'Gilt edged' chances.
As Sheff manager said 'We kept them to mainly shots from outside the area' which had some truth in it.

It was good that we and Ange(9) saw how things can go when the oppo sets out to frustrate. We squeaked thru, but w/o Kane this is where we'll miss him. Teams will come to us and play like this...better teams than Sheff Utd...so the match was a warning imo.

Teams trying to press us are cruising for a bruising, the weight of our talent in defence/midfield is too strong for pretty much anyone, but daring our forwards to beat a low block we'll see a lot of imo and
may lead to close run games. Opponents playing counter could be our Achilles heel. Good that Ange has clearly seen this and maybe can look for remedies.

Had intermittent stream & was working at the time; watched motd highlights. Richy was the game changer, so got my vote for motm. Although the pass Biss made to BJ for the offside goal was hoddle-esq. Sarr & Udogie are worthy of a mention. As is Solomon… good crop of players coming thru. FairPlay FP.

Man City needed a late winner to get all three points against this team. Sheffield may steal some points off of top teams with this style, but thankfully not us yesterday!
